Raven thought his death was near when he saw dozens of red eyes behind the trees in the Forbidden Forest. Raven had just learned that one of the Shadow Wolves fighting him was a scout. Raven was completely underestimated as an Omega; even the scout Shadow Wolves thought he was weak and could be easily killed.

The purple smoke around her hands was thick now, smelling like burnt copper and rot as she launched herself at his back, her claws extended. She didn't fight like a normal wolf anymore; her movements were unnaturally fast, driven by whatever dark magic the Rogue King had pumped into her veins.
