Clara took it from her, unrolled it, and her face turned white. “Andrew. Elena. You must see this.”

What was Zara’s connection to all of this? “Why did you bring this to me Kaid? You could have gone to any other Alpha to help you. I'm sure you're aware that Ravenclaw is involved in a project of theirs.” I said and took a sip of whiskey from my glass He shifted uncomfortably in his seat before his composure returned. “As you're aware of, packs can't be trusted especially when an amount this much is involved. There are lots of instances of double-crossing and even death. Ravenclaw has never been involved in such an issue. I haven't had the chance to work with you but from investigations I have made, you seem like the best bet there is.” He answered.

One second he was there, and the next second he wasn't. Raven frowned and turned around to see what was behind her. She caught a brief glimpse of a red robe and could recognize it anywhere. It was the man from last night who had left her with more questions than answers. Determined to get some answers this time, she decided to chase after him, even though she knew that he was fast. As she rounded the corner, Raven realized that she had made a mistake. It was a dead end, and there was nowhere for the man to go. She was trapped, they were both trapped, and she knew that she had to think fast if she wanted to get out of this situation alive.

Varric continued, “You will each be given the riddle. You may work alone, or seek help from those who stand with you. But know this: speed alone will not grant victory. Only truth will.” An attendant pressed a rolled parchment into my hands. My pulse thundered as I unrolled it. The riddle’s first line leapt out at me: “I am taken from a mine, locked in a wooden case, never released, and yet almost every soul uses me. What am I?” My lips parted. A riddle. ☠️ CHAPTER TEN ☠️ Raven on opening the second drawer, saw the yellow scarf inside and she took it out. She frowned her brows in confusion, staring at the back of the scarf. " Why does this scarf look pretty familiar?" She asked herself. A burry picture of the scarf flashed through her mind and she rubbed her temple as she felt a slight headache. She closed her eyes to get a clearer picture of it but it was still blurry. She snapped her eyes open.

‘She doesn’t know who we are,’ Clover whimpers, pulling at her lavender colored hair, showing more fear than I’ve ever seen in her. “I’m right here Raven, I’m not leaving you,” I whisper, trying to calm her down, wishing I knew how to take her pain. ‘Gideon, like with Gideon… sink your claws into her to drain her she’s full of power and life!’ Clover squeals almost happily, as I look over at her watching her dance around the bodies. “Clover now is not the time!” I growl at her, trying to understand how she could be happy when everything has gone straight to hell so fast.

"We need your help to defeat a great evil." The alchemist smiled knowingly. "Ah, I see. And what, may I ask, is this great evil?" Noelle hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But Nathan spoke up again. "A creature known as the Raven. It's been terrorizing our kingdom for too long, and we need to put an end to it." As they reached the top, they saw a small hut nestled in the rocks, with smoke rising from the chimney. Nathan knocked on the door, and after a few moments, an old man with a long white beard opened the door.
