Her visions were true because they were accurate, not because of where they came from. The stifling silence was broken by Frank, ever the practical one. “Could it be? Could she still be alive?” Frank asked in surprise. A glimmer of hesitant, frail hope ignited in his eyes. Daemon's voice was stern and slightly resentful. “Apparently, you've forgotten that nobody ever survives Silverwood Forest. Absolutely nobody.” His expression was doubtful as he pulled himself back into his chair. He could still remember how they were attacked. And how Ravena was taken to the forest that night. The images burned in his memory, leaving an unpleasant ache in his heart.

“Can I really—wa-uh!” Raven scooped me off my feet. My hands snaked around his neck while he cradled me against his chest with his one arm under my knees. The next few seconds, Raven ran across the forest at a speed that even his bike couldn’t match. The trees transformed into a mosaic of fleeting hues — green, black, and gray. He put me to my feet. The twigs cracked, and the grass crunched beneath my sneakers. It didn’t take me long to find where Zosha was. A tree and plants close to it had grown considerably larger than the rest.

“I’m done being in the dark.” Aiden stood slowly, crossing to the far wall. He pulled down an old map—torn at the edges, covered in strange marks. “This town,” he said, pointing to a crooked black symbol near the center, “Ravenwood—it was built on the bones of something ancient. A rift between worlds. A place where the wild things crawl through if the veil thins too much.” Evelynn stared at him. “You mean like… the fire? The monsters?” He nodded. “It doesn’t happen often. Maybe once every hundred years. But when it does, something or someone gets chosen. Marked.”

I wasn't suppose to look into his eyes because I'll get nightmares out of it. But I noticed something. His eyes aren't green. They're blue now. What? Brayden must've noticed me staring. "Yes?" "Your eyes- I mean, um, nevermind."

Before we get down into the story we need to know our characters first. Let's go some hours away before Rain had fallen off the cliff by her friends in the pack. Everything exists in this world just like magic and witches, along with werewolves humans, and also hunters who are also human but hunts werewolves by regarding them as dangerous species. Yes, anything is possible if you just believe it. Just like Rain, who lives in the village of Ravenwood. Today is just like a usual day. Rain is now gathering woods in the forest of Ravenwood. This is her duty as she lives in the house a little bit away from there with her friend Bella who takes care of everything else for her.

(Cole’s POV) As soon as the curtain of night fell upon the forest, like a shadow, I ran swiftly but quietly to the dark woods. I muttered a curse because Raven must have realized he was being followed as he suddenly changed his path, dashing like wind and heading to San Rafael. He sauntered along the tall shadowed trees for a while and smirked as he reached the end of the woods, walking carefree and heading to the Wild Side, the only bar in town.

I demanded. Xander stepped close to me and looked into my eyes, his expression serious. "You know that the clinic burning down wasn't an isolated incident, just like this vampire's murder wasn't an isolated incident either. Before you go, we have to put a stop to whoever is hunting us, or else you will be hunted down and killed." He sighed. "If Raven said—" "How did you know her name?" I demanded, amazed that he had known exactly who I was talking about. He shrugged. "Raven is an extraordinary witch. If she says you have a wolf that's dormant, then you can take it to the bank."

Raven's heart raced, not just from the anticipation but from the trust she placed in Shade with every stride. The forest seemed to stretch infinitely, the quiet interrupted only by the nocturnal symphony of crickets and the occasional hoot of an owl. Just when Raven was beginning to think they might be lost in this endless verdant maze, a majestic structure emerged from the dense foliage. The werewolf abode, reminiscent of a time when architecture was a labor of love, stood tall and proud, its gothic arches and mossy façade echoing stories from a bygone era.

I ask, looking around to see they are deep in the evergreen forest near a river. “Yeah, I don’t envy you having to deal with that once you’re out of my body. We’re only a few hours behind, but at the rate we’re losing light we’re going to have to camp for the night. What’s wrong Raven? You wouldn’t do this without having a reason?” Jonathan questions through the link, making me shake my head finding this very weird being inside his head.
