The Alpha smiled proudly. A young woman with jet black hair and violet eyes delivered food to all three of us before dismissing herself. “She is fae?” I asked, still distracted by her features even after she had long since left. “Hybrid. Wolfen and fae. Her mother's wolf pack banished her, and she never knew her fae father. Her name is Raven. She is very kind, but very shy towards strangers.” The Luna explained, and I nodded, devouring the meal before me.

They were scared out of their minds. They looked at me like I was a ghost when Mara brought me in. A tall girl with short black hair stepped forward. Her name was Lena. She had a scar across her cheek. “You are new,” she said. Her voice was rough from no talking. “Day one,” I said. Some of them laughed bitterly. Lena looked me up and down. “You will not last.” I met her eyes. “I am Raven Blackthorne. I have four bonds waiting outside that gate. I am not dying in here. And neither are you.”

And Minerva MacAllen.” “A pleasure,” I said, offering a polite smile. Colton stood, his eyes flickering over me. “You look different without the gala makeup. Just as stunning, though.”
