“All kinds of books. I’ve ready fantasy, romance and everything in between. I’ve read Harry Potter probably more times than I can count.” “Harry Potter?” I chuckle. “Don’t diss on Harry Potter or I’ll turn this horse around.” I chuckle at her threat. “Do you read?” “I do, probably not as much as you but I do. I tend to stick to fantasy stories like The Hobbit or the Game of Thrones series.”

But he was talking softly and being gentle and not being the big bad Alpha that I had heard he was. “I actually like a lot of books. No genre in particular. I like The Harry Potter Series. They were really good. And A Tale of Two Cities. I like a lot of V.C. Andrews books. They’re really interesting.” I explained. And without realising it, I stopped fiddling with my dress and started looking out the front window of the car. I felt like I was finally relaxing a little. And I saw a small smile creep across Alpha Connor’s face.

I look at the title quickly and grin. “Hey there,” he says. “We meet again.” “The Hobbit, huh?” I ask, noting the book he’s reading. “Oh,” he looks down at it and back at me. “Yeah.” I could swear he’s blushing. The barista calls me over and I grab my drink before walking back. “First read?” I ask him. “Oh, yes for The Hobbit. I’ve read Lord of the Rings three times,” he stops and adds, “I hope that’s not too nerdy to say.”

He says with a smirk. “Tell, yes that’s right defiantly tell. I am watching Harry Potter. The first one. I had planned to watch all of them the weekend.” I somehow found my voice and confidents only to ramble like an idiot, I would smack my forehead, but I am just going to act like it was normal and not draw any more attention to it.

I was busy reading some of the book titles: The Lord Of The Rings, The Hunger Games, The Harry Potter Series, The Lightening Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympian), The Last Mission.... Wow, he has good taste in books. I can't believe he actually read these. I began laughing to myself. "What's so funny?" Tyler asked. I turned to look at him, still laughing. "It's just so hard to imagine a boy like you reading. If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it." I commented.

“What? “Uhm, Madam Puddifoot? From Harry Potter? In Hogsmeade Village?” “You like Harry Potter?” Jackson replies with a chuckle. “I saw the movies when I was a child, but I have not thought of them much since, I suppose.” Monica’s smile is bright as she admits, “I love them. I watch all eight movies at least once a year and lost count of how many times I have also read the books years ago. But the first time I read them was with my mom, and we both fell in love with the stories.” “Who’s your favorite? Harry?”

He asked. Lexi worked at swallowing her potatoes first. She tapped the blue book on the table. "I was reading this book today. It's about a man named Martin that gets reanimated and he can hear a voice named Angel. Then he meets up with a girl named Carmen and they search for a dead body." "Dead bodies? What kind of books are you reading? Maybe you should stick to something with bunnies in it or something." Jack went to take the book from her. Lexi slapped her hand on the book. "No please, don't take it. I'm not finished yet." Her pleading eyes looked up at him.

He kisses my forehead before making his way into the bathroom. “I’ll leave the door open in case you need anything” He starts the water, telling me to put something on the TV. I get under his covers, grabbing the book on his night table. Harry Potter, an interesting pick for him. I open it up to the first page, starting the book over again for the hundredth time. Daniel’s shower is quick, yet I find myself struggling to keep my eyes open. It’s only 10:00 but I hardly got any sleep last night. I know Daniel didn’t either.

I just had to get that book. A huge chunk of my childhood was spent reading J.K Rowling's books (including the whole, god-licious Harry Potter series which were obviously my favourite ones). Everything she wrote made me dream vividly of another world- it was nearly as fantastic as skydiving. I glanced at my legs and sighed sadly- the last thing I wanted to do was think of skydiving. I needed a few more weeks to digest that accident.

) If you want me to love you forever, just get me movies that have a touch of either horror or comedy all the time. I really want to watch the Harry Potter series too. I haven't, and it's out of fear of being disappointed. I've read all the books in the series, which is out of character for me, and I don't want that initial joy I got from reading the books to turn into sadness and annoyance. Movies have this way of ruining a good book. Another reason I don't read much. I prefer watching the movie than reading, but I'd much rather not watch a poor imitation of a good book. So in order to avoid that disappointment, I don't bother reading the book. So, my actions are pretty smart, right?
