The Empress and the Alpha

The Empress and the Alpha

“There’s a story in here about him.” “No, there’s nothing in that book.” “Empress it’s right here.” He showed me a blank page. “Hunter, there’s nothing there.” Penn whispered. “Yes there is!” Hunter insisted. “It’s a story...I think I’m supposed to read it.” “Start a fire, Zelda.” Zeke stated. “I think tonight we'll be reading ghost stories.”

I'm only halfway through and you know I adore your other stories. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the werewolf genre...but OMG this is amazing? It's so different from any other werewolf novel I've read! It's funny and high fantasy I worship Zelda! Hunter is wild I just love all of this!! Brilliant!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

Two Hearts Victim of Lies

I added, then rolled my eyes at him. I saw him grinning, and I felt my heart pound again. He really reminds me of the guy that I was kissing the other night in the club! He really looks like Braddy, especially when he smiles. "And you really think I'm joking? I'm telling the truth. Ghosts exist here in the province," he continued. I rolled my eyes again and just held my breath. "I don't care. I'm not afraid," I answered and then sighed. He didn't speak and just shrugged his shoulders to continue reading. A few minutes passed, and I looked at my watch again, which is why I stood up from my seat. Manang Gina entered just in time and immediately approached me.

I Dare You, Alpha Jones Capturing His Pet

I Dare You, Alpha Jones Capturing His Pet

I’m sitting here wondering if I’m going crazy thinking my imagination has gone too far. AIREKA: [I’ve witnessed zombies attacking their living relatives under the control of an ancient creature that should have died long ago. I’m hard pressed to disbelieve stories and explanations told to me these days. Your story’s simple to believe at all after recent events and hearing about the mess at the abandoned motel.] APRIL:

Whispers of the Devil

Whispers of the Devil

“About the swamp being haunted?” I nod. Even though we hadn’t grown up together, I’m pretty sure that we both had gotten the same tired ghost stories passed around in the hallways about such places around our hometowns. “I know this sounds crazy, but what if the stories are true?” Her tone is fervent, and her eyes shine with a hot certainty. “Not the witches and stuff. But there is something there, and I think…” She draws in a deep, steadying breath. “I think it’s a demon.”

Out of the Ashes

Out of the Ashes

the spirit mused then invited, "come over to the bookshelf. It's time we conducted a little research." Miranda rose her eyebrows in bewilderment and shook her head, "I guess." She sighed out, then she approached the bookshelf where the ghost started to point out which books Miranda needed to read. By the time Miranda sat at the small table, she had up to ten books piled on the wooden surface. "Now, let's start with The Legends of the Wolfe, then we'll read Creatures of the Moon, Myths Versus Facts, then we can go from there." The ghost coached.

Cheap Trick

Cheap Trick

“I’ll go first. Prove to you that if I can do it—and that six-year-old over there—then you can do it.” “That kid is at least twelve.” She releases me and falls back into the water, floating on her back. “And yes, let’s try this. But if I die, I’m haunting you for the rest of your life.” “I don’t believe in ghosts.” “Oh, you will once my angry spirit starts breaking all the top-shelf bottles of booze at the bar. But I’ll start out way more subtle than that. Dex will wake up at night, staring at the wall growling. You’ll start to wonder, getting just a little freaked out. Then things will go missing. Doors will shut on their own, along with flickering lights.”

Sinful Desires

Sinful Desires

Those who had discovered the truth were swiftly silenced, their secrets dying with them. The rumors about The Ghost were the stuff of criminal legend. They said he could walk through walls, that he had spies in every major organization, that he could make people disappear without a trace. Some said he wasn't human at all, but a vengeful spirit who had returned from the dead to punish the wicked. Victor did nothing to discourage these tales—in fact, he cultivated them.

Our Little Secret: In Love With My Professor

Our Little Secret: In Love With My Professor

“The world you know is only one layer of many. Thin and blind. Humans walk through it as if they are the only ones who matter. But beneath your feet, above your heads, just beyond the veil of your senses… live the others.” I saw glimpses as she spoke, blinding flashes of creatures my mind struggled to name. “Vampires,” she said, and I saw pale faces and crimson mouths, eyes like glass, cloaks billowing in alleys soaked with blood. “Not the charming monsters from your films. Real ones. Old ones. Bound by blood and ancient pacts. They feed not just on life, but on memory, on fear.” Another flash. “Ghosts,” she whispered. “Spirits caught between deaths. Some gentle. Most not. They live in the c

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

"There are no ghosts in this world." "No, no, no!" The young guy looked like he was losing his mind, his whole body shaking in terror. "There are ghosts! "There were rumors about this building being haunted even before! An old woman living on the first floor lost her son in a mining accident. She kept waiting for him every day. I heard it a long time ago. My neighbor ran into her after work once. She kept asking him where her son was. He said he didn't know, and she trapped him walking in circles on the stairwell!

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!
