Gryphon flies down in front of the crowd, and they all stare in fascination. I ask, “Gryphon, we have a girl who would like to know if unicorns exist.” Gryphon chuckles, “Yes, they are real, but they don’t live on your Earth. They would all be killed, so I protect them.” Then he whistles and four unicorns fly in with four pegasi. There was a huge round of applause, and the girls were asking to pet them.

"There will be ponies?" she asked. I shrugged and nodded. A carousel counted, right?

“They live in another nation.” “In another nation… which nation? I know almost every country and I can tell you they don’t exist anywhere.” Dalton cocked an inquiring eyebrow at me. I could feel Millie’s gaze on me, probably curious to know where unicorns actually live. “They exist in my imagination.” I revealed while looking down at Millie before adding, “In our imagination.” “Yes,” Millie smiled up at me, happy with my response. Dalton wasn’t pleased seeing this. “You’re spoiling Millie.” He pointed out.

Shortly thereafter, he shifted his attention back to me, the anticipation of his words hanging in the air. “Have you ridden a horse before?” he asked and I raised a brow. No I haven’t ridden one before. While I had witnessed countless portrayals of horse riding in movies and games, the experience had eluded me. The closest encounter with a horse-like creature had been a black pony, a birthday gift for Kate.
