The door of the room opened and a doctor rushed inside, followed by a nurse. "My ribs..." I cried out in pain as tears rolled down my cheeks. "Drink this," the nurse told me as she handed me a cup of water after she helped me to properly sit up. I took the cup from her with shaky hands and drank it. I hysterically looked around the room; I was afraid of everyone around me.
