She faced me, "keep him dangling, Rebecca. Boys like him need to be kept dangling cause they're nothing but loads of trouble." Spinning on her small legs, she sauntered away, muttering under her breath about how she wouldn't admit she missed him. Becca hid a smile and wouldn't meet Luke's can-you-believe-her?look. She walked into her room and giggled, closing the door. She missed Luke which was normal. Who wouldn't miss a guy that could make you laugh? As she smiled and was about to undress, somewhere in her mind full of thoughts, she registered the glint of metal and the click and shutter of a camera nearby just outside her window.

SUMMARY The protagonist of the story is Rebecca. Rebecca is a single 32 year old woman who lives in an apartment on the lower east coast of Manhattan. This is a low class community so she is not compelled to make conversation with the locals. She works in the accounting department of a Multi-Sector Conglomerate Co-operation.

Fiona’s kind of venom didn’t die that easily. Silence stretched for a moment, broken only by the ticking of the old clock on the mantel. Rebecca squeezed her knees tighter, her body trembling. She wanted to scream, to stand up and shout that none of this was fair, that she had no control. But her throat locked. She stayed curled in the shadows, invisible, clinging to the hope that Ryan’s words weren’t what they seemed. Footsteps creaked. Slow, measured, deliberate. Rebecca’s breath hitched. Someone was moving at the porch.

It smelled like old pages and lavender, and the walls were stacked to the ceiling with every kind of book you could imagine. Lucy found a signed copy of Rebecca and hugged it like a long-lost friend. Dolly picked up a poetry collection that made her misty-eyed by the second page. I found a blank leather journal and bought it on a whim, already imagining the art I’d pour into its pages.

In spite of herself, she looked back at Niyi and saw that the girl, who had been tugging on her dog’s leash, frowned immediately she heard the voice. “What do you want?” Her voice was as cold as ice. Rebecca took a step into the lab. Ibukun saw that she looked tired, worn out, and perhaps fearful. Now that she thought of it, Ibukun saw that Rebecca had always had a bit of a fearful air around her. Ibukun tried to imagine the world through her eyes; someone who wasn’t as pretty or as sassy as the rest of the SQs, who was never comfortable in her own skin, who always felt the need to be accepted. Again, she felt the beginning of pity for a member of the group that had made her six years at AHS

"How to be the best hunter you can be" was the first words Rebecca read in that booklet and she felt hooked to it instantly. "Its not about who you are, your gender, where you came from, everyone in the world is unique therefore evey passing hunter or huntress will bare his or her own unique traits, making you dangerous in your own right" Rebecca thought of her strengths, she's a hybrid right? But she barely knew any of it, focusing most of her life to be a human she never learned to be what she really is.

Silvia was still nothing. And Rebecca? Rebecca always got what she wanted. She just had to make sure Silvia never, ever saw another moment of undeserved relief again. She would fully move into the mansion, and Silvia would finally know what real pain was. Did she dare talk back to her? Rebecca had been the pride of everyone she knew since she was a child, such a talented, perfect person should never be talked to the way Silvia had dared to talk to her, threatening her with death and ghosts!

Belle interrupted. "Of course Mademoiselle," I smirked at her. "You too act wat more cheesy. I had never seen this view of you Echo?" she snapped in between. "Cheesy?" Belle asked her best friend. "No, I am not," Belle answered. "Obviously yes. Like a typical husband and wife. It feels really weird to see you like this but I completely love this side of yours. I mean I never thought you would come out of that Jeremy thing and your selfish books," Rebecca said as she plopped on couch.

She would read more of Rebecca's writings to find out what happened to her sister first. The fourth, fifth, sixth, and tenth pages still tell the same thing. It made Blakely's stomach churn and she felt nauseous. How her sister had described Nickson as a very exaggerated figure. She thought of Nickson like Romeo.
