Hidden beneath the sands of the canyon floor was a massive abyssal creature, bound in chains, its eyes glowing with a malevolent light. "It's a trap," Liora whispered, her voice filled with dread. Before we could retreat, the creature stirred, sensing our presence. The chains binding it started to unravel, released by unseen forces from the outpost. It was not just any creature; it was a Leviathan, an ancient beast of destruction, long believed to be a myth.

Louisa's POV That was the first time I had ever seen Aegir Sea in my life. I had heard it a thousand times in Uma's bedtime stories and I had dreamed about it a million times in my mind. It was the place where giant ocean monsters emerged from the surface and waved their huge tentacles to drag poor fishermen's boats into the darkness of the deep sea in volatile waves. But on that day, the sea was quiet and gloomy. Having been stuck in the woods for days, I was relieved to see an open area with endless stretches of water for a change.

I stood, and the Dragon Lord's perception instantly opened to full strength. A violent, heavy energy fluctuation was coming from the deep water directly beneath Shallow Bay. It was an elite sea beast: a cracked-shell giant turtle. Its shell was over fifty feet across, covered in fissures, and its limbs were as thick as pillars. A sea beast of this level only had to roll over to crush every wooden structure in Shallow Bay. The deck was already in chaos. "Run! That monster could swallow us in one bite!" Victor shrieked hysterically as he tried to untie a lifeboat.

The alien monster raised her clawed legs, and the fisheri hovered—suspended in the air.
