Rejecting her twin alphas Novels & Stories

We would be free, one way or another. “What’s your name?” the Alpha on my right asks. I try to distract myself by counting the beeps from the machine beside me. Anything to take my mind off them. They keep asking my name, telling me I don’t have to go back. I wish I could believe them. All Alphas are the same, if they don’t send me back to Kendrick, it’s because they want something from me. Why else would they keep me here? “Kendrick is going to pay for this, I swear I will tear him limb from limb.” One of the twins growls beside me.

"But the moon goddess mated me to Alpha Rex as his second chance mate after his wife died recently" "She found out about you when I said I would reject Alpha Rex. She said if I did that, she'll kill you" she explained to his shock. END OF FLASHBACK

Wait, what? Before I knew anything, I was in my wedding dress, and standing in front of me was the alpha of Silver river pack, Alpha Curtis, and right now he was looking at me with hate and disgust. Hey! Don’t look at me like that! It’s not like I wanted to do this. I rolled my eyes and apparently he saw that because right now the look on his face was added a bit of anger and shock. Yeah didn’t see that coming did you? A smirk crept up my face until my eyes met with my father’s.

If I tell him about the twins right now, he will either use them to bind me into something that looks like a marriage but is nothing like one, or Vivienne will twist it into something else entirely. I press my lips together. My hand aches to move to my stomach, but I hold perfectly still. "I, Alpha Caden Blackwell of the Cresthaven Pack," he begins, and the formal cadence of the words is somehow the most brutal part, "formally reject you, Selene Ashford, as my fated mate and Luna." The force of it hits me like a physical blow — a tearing sensation beginning in my chest and radiating outward into my limbs, into my fingertips, behind my eyes. A sound tries to leave me and I seal my lips agains

Anger was evident in his tone and the way his fists curled surprised me. Was he concerned about me right now? “I'll get the healer” He stood up and walked to the door, barking orders at someone before he returned. Not long after the healer he talked about arrived, she was made to examine me. She turned to the Alpha. “The babies are fine, Alpha” I breathed out in relief but then processed her words. What did she mean by babies? She turned back to me and smiled. “You are carrying twins” The words didn't register at first but when they finally did, my eyes widened in shock. Those were Jace's babies but he rejected them as he had rejected me.

I didn't realize that the Alpha was waiting for a response until I felt his eyes bore into my skin, and lucky for me, I remembered his question. "Where have you travelled from?" He asked, and I contemplated between telling the truth or lying to him. "Twin moon pack." I replied, going for the former. The Alpha nodded slowly, and was about to ask more questions but he turned to the men who had just come into the palace instead. I turned towards the men, and looked away. He must be the Beta, seeing how nobly he was dressed. The second best in the whole pack that I have seen. The other man who had come in with the supposed Beta bowed to the Alpha, and left.

I looked up and my eyes met with someone sitting at the high table, far away from me. My eyes skipped at the sight of Alpha Ethan staring at me from where he sat. I had met him only once. That was when I was 17 and I hadn’t gotten my wolf. The only thing I felt when I saw the twins many years ago was hatred. At the time their father was the Alpha and he was the one who was involved in the war but we were all taught to hate them for the suffering they brought my silvermoon pack. Our eyes caught, but his eyebrows didn’t deepen in disgust, his eyes didn’t hold disapproval. Rather they lit up and widened like he had found something he had been searching for.

William commented. Elder David turned his bitter eyes towards me, “You will leave our pack soon enough. Go back to your mate, or go home, whichever. And then the twin Alphas will accept their chosen mates,” the elder stated before turning and walking away from us. “Take him to the holding cell,” William demanded of his warriors.

She wouldn’t. Alpha Stephen is the alpha of the neighboring pack, he took over when his brother was killed my rouges a couple of months ago. I keep staring at him my breathing erratic surprised no one can hear me I want to scream, she couldn’t, she wouldn’t do something like what I’m thinking. She wouldn’t have slept with him, after all we sacrificed. After all I sacrificed.

I ask, sounding absolutely stupid. “What?” he asks frowning. “I heard Alec and his friends talking about twins finding their mates. That’s like marriage, right?” “My sisters, Quinn and Malin. Yes, they found their mates, friends of mine, Alpha Emerson, and Alpha Cohen. Powerful Alphas who are in an alliance with my brother, Alpha Richard.” Now it’s my turn to frown. “But they called you Alpha.”
