Twenty minutes after tossing us down here they threw down Ross as well bleeding badly from a gash on his side - out cold. The person responsible for it was standing at the top of the stairs looking so proud of herself. Aldric had apparently found a dark witch to work with. The only thing I could think of was that somebody or something needed to take down the witch holding us all down here. If they hadn't disturbed any of the other pack members then it could very well be hours before people would be buzzing around the small town. My eyes were fixated on the wit

Before she knew it, the days had turned into a week and she was still no closer to breaking his curse. On the morning of the eighth day, she happened upon a book in the library that she found in the very back shelves. It was old and the writing on the spine, so faded, that she couldn't read it so she removed it from the shelf, only to find that the writing on the cover was much the same. Flipping through the pages, she stopped and opened at a particular page showing an illustration of a witch and a werewolf, howling at the moon. She began reading the text, which described curses that had been placed on werewolves over the past centuries. As she stood between the shelves, focusing on the book

I mumbled as I got down on my knees and took the locket off my neck and placed it on the book. Now the book was truly beginning to shake and tremble. I could feel the dark energy trying to throw us all away. “Please don’t let go, hold onto it!!!” I screamed and the alphas ordered everybody to plant their feet firmly on the ground. Dark fumes began to rise out of the book and the witch realized that her source of power was in danger. She let go of her game of hide and seek and came flying towards me. In an instant, she had her fingers curled around my throat as she took me high in the air.

Also her power of speech indicated well about her upfront attitude. She was clever with her words since the start. "Are you a w-witch, lady?" Slowing the speed of the carriage a little, the man focused on the lone mysterious passenger sitting on his carriage. Releasing a breath I hadn't known I was holding, Zion ushered me aside, revealing we needed to escape on a raft due to a breach of our location and the soldiers pursuing him. My relief that it wasn't Max was short-lived as frustration set in about Zion's ability to protect me while being a target himself. As I prepared to confront Zion, a witch appeared, declaring a change of plans, and a portal materialized. Zion and I exchanged glances before he propelled me through the portal. I plummeted, screaming, unaware I had landed on a descending cloud. Above, Zion chuckled, and the witch maintained her stern expression.
