Fidelity

Fidelity

"Mrs. Witt said the plane is ready and Dr. Rossi is here, ready to accompany you back to New York." I nodded. With each passing day I gained new respect for Deloris Witt. Eva Rossi was the one physician I could implicitly trust with regard to both Adelaide's care as well as discretion. She was family. As I'd told Deloris, family is family. The physician Deloris had consulted had proven trustworthy. She'd scoured Adelaide's records and ordered tests. She was the one who told us how to trick the monitors at Magnolia Woods. She was still on the case, but she wasn't family. I couldn't ask her to assist me in transporting Adelaide to New York.

This is such an interesting book, and the characters are really good. Jane is that one friend anybody should have, and then Elara who was called barren was finally going to be having her baby. It's a pity her husband had to cheat on her with her step sister. Overall the story is really good.

Honestly I love that she had a friend like Jane, I love her personality. I love how I could feel every emotion you tried to put into words and everything played like a movie in my thoughts. This is such a good read. Kudos dear author...️

My Death Contract

My Death Contract

Meredith sighed and decided to just not add kind to the list. She thought to herself she also couldn’t add honest as the whole marriage was a lie to begin with and again back to lunch, he had set her up without telling her anything. She thought that was a dishonest move. If he wasn’t honest could he be considered trustworthy. She wasn’t sure. She felt as though he was trustworthy in some aspects. She could trust him to be on time and to do what he said he was going to do for the most part. She decided to write down reliable instead of trustworthy. She didn’t entirely trust him.

Rejected and Insecure

Rejected and Insecure

The person sounded old but firm. "My apologies Sir, Mr Jackson is away for a meeting." I replied. "Ah..." He sigh. "I can deliver whatever message it is to Mr Jackson you can trust me." "Oh thank goodness, just tell him DT and give him this number, 09*******" "Yes sir, it was a pleasure speaking with you." I said. "Wait! To who do I owe this respect?" He asked. "Christopher Benjamin Jackson sir." I replied trying to sound polite. "Oh, the pleasure is mine. I really hope to see you in person some day."

I asked him. “What do I still need to do for you to believe me, Alli, that I like you?!” He said in a frustrated voice. “I think you need to confess to me? You know it's hard to assume things.” I hissed. What kind of thinking is that? Of course, he needs to tell me for me to be sure. "Isn’t action speaks louder than words?" He said. I looked at him intently. “You know, sometimes we still need to hear it from you for confirmation. It is hard to assume things. As the accountancy always says, ‘never assume unless otherwise stated’ because sometimes you guys were giving us mixed signals.”
