Thousands of abandoned books rested upon the silent sand. Some were half-buried. Others lay open, their pages completely blank. The woman whispered, "These are all unfinished stories..." The First Reader nodded. "Every story abandoned by its Author eventually arrives here." Adrian stepped onto the cold sand. The moment his foot touched the shore... every abandoned book trembled. One by one... their pages began turning. Not by wind. By recognition. A faint whisper rose from every direction. "Author..." "Please..." "Finish us..." Thousands of voices.

Sarah stated and wringled out of his grasps. " Trust me." he gulped and breath out alcohol. Sarah covered her nose and shifted back. " Just trust me." He pleaded in a wobble voice. " Richard, i'm following you because I trusted you." She said, her heart beating fast. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her to the school abandoned library.

I know the story went through a drastic change in plot, and I sincerely apologize for that. Something unexpected happened in my real life, and because of it, I had to step back from writing and romanticizing werewolves. Honestly, I struggled a lot since last year and kept contemplating whether I should just drop this book entirely. However, I felt bad doing so because I’m not used to abandoning stories I already started.

Which meant that anything I did from here on out was going to be documented. I pressed my lips together and looked down at the book. Well. I couldn’t do anything about Mara tonight. But I could do something about this. I changed into comfortable clothes, got into bed, propped my pillow up against the headboard, and opened the book to the chapter on reincarnation. The writing was dense and old-fashioned, making it a little difficult to follow along at times. I had to reread some spots just to get the meaning out of it.

I really wanted to stick a knife at Petter and Stella. "Amber, I'm sorry for cheating on me. I made a mistake, and I promise I will fix everything. I will leave Stella, but I beg you to forgive me." She then took out a book from the middle row— a thick, old book with its tattered cover and yellowed pages. She skimmed through the pages until her gaze fixed on one and her eyes rapidly moved from one word to another. “I think...I think...it’s a bond withdrawal,” she murmured without glancing up. “What?” Dorian quirked an eyebrow.
