The look on Slate’s face said it all as Nya stood there with the Heart of Magic tight in her fist. The soldiers’ faces told her that they recognized that it was too late, that they had let the magical gem fall into enemy hands. One of the soldiers held a sword to Slate’s throat, his hands trembling. Nya hadn’t even realized that he was under their control until the tip of the sword pierced his skin, and a tiny droplet of blood rolled down the edge.

Jet black feathers adorned him and they all shimmered gallantly under the sun, making Hanji feel lucky and proud of Rai. Patting his neck, he quickly sat on it's back, ignoring the sharp pain he felt on his pelvis. "Let's go Rai. Let's go find Grandfather's apprentice." ❇❇❇ The red ruby was flaring. It was glowing brightly in his pockets and was emitting heat that almost burnt his right hand when he attempted to touch it. It was a charm given by his magician friend that lives in the Pacific. It warns the holder from malicious intent and desires. This ruby had saved him from a couple of scammers and troubles, but it never was this coruscant before. It would only glow a bit, like a pulse of re

Everyone was talking about a prophecy and he knew nothing about it. Rosalie heard the book thumping against the wall and woke up panicked. She panicked more when Asrar wasn’t beside her. She threw off the sheets and raced out to the shared living space. She knew Ryan and Avalon where in a room beside them. Exiting the room she didn’t see Asrar anywhere which worried her. She did however see the book on the floor. Quietly walking over she lifted it and frowned. This book belonged to her grandmother. She remembered her reading it to her. ‘Dragons Gem.’ Was the ancient text on the cover. It was an old leather cased book that had gotten soft over the years. Her Grandma had made a special cover t

Alabruz stood helpless as believing in the fact that Nicoria is their Queen, she has all the rights to do whatever she wants, and whoever dares raised their head shall be beheaded. Nicoria’s smoky eyes turned pale without a pupil and the same was reflected in Azile’s eyes. Agile started to spoke a different language, screamed, and laughed gravely. Igikran took a knife and cut the palm of Azile’s hand. The blood flowed from the cut and thus collected and poured into the middle of the living area. The flame from nowhere started to lit and Igikran chanted some spells and a book emerged from the pyre. The book seems ordinary; it has an eye on it with visible nerves. The eyes examined every corne

I don't know if that is a low number but I've accepted it anyway. "Of course you're gonna miss your old man and oh I have one more thing for you." He went out of the room and returned in an instant. In his hand was a walnut-brown, medium-sized book. "This is our family Grimoire and I want you to have it," Dad held out the Grimoire for me to take but I couldn't help but feel hesitant to take it. The book emitted a large force of power that seemed way beyond my worth. "It's alright Ren. You can take it," my Father's words were enough for me to initiate courage and reach out to grab the Grimoire. The Grimoire, although not large carried an abundant force of energy that seemed to charge me. I kn

They’d need to gather what they needed for the ritual and still perform it. Gemma’s hands shook, and she glanced at Evan as she opened the book. The writing was clear even for the age and weathered look of the pages. The pages yellowed to a golden shade, buttery soft, with a slightly brittle feel to them. “Well, if the first pages tell us anything. It’s a grimoire. If the title of the first page means anything. A blessing for propagation tells me it’s what we’re looking for.” “Blessing for propagation? What does that do?” Evan frowned in confusion.

I don't want you to possess me," she said quickly and I chuckled. "Her name is Gabriela Forrester," Grace tells me and I nodded my head as I pulled out my amulet. I debated if I should take it off or not and finally decided against it because I was less intimidating remaining as I was. I could see Jim was inside a vehicle and assumed he was heading to this place. "Is this Jim's basement," I asked Grace and she shrugged. I watched Gabriela head towards a set of stairs and disappear up them. Grace was on her hands and knees blowing against the salt circle but the granules weren't moving.

“You think you’re the only one?” “You wound me, Delia,” Gray chuckles. She slaps his arm playfully, letting him know it's time to get serious. He straightens up, as all signs of amusement snap from his face in a split second and holds still while she goes to work on the chain in his hands. She places both of her hands a few inches above the metal and whispers some incantation until a low blue glow can be seen from underneath her palms. When the glow fades she moves her warm copper brown hands and sighs.

the gates of Tartarus opened up by a vortex and a few things were being sucked in including the demons who'd been freed from Tartarus. The witch tried to get Grimoire to stop the spell but to her surprise, the Grimoire was gone and a book was clogged like the Grimoire.. She looked at Nicklaus with a horrified expression wondering when he'd switched the Grimoire.. “Oh don't look at me like that, sweetie..” He Smirked Mockingly as he held onto the huge gravestone beside him because he knew the vortex would be sucking them in next.. Meanwhile the witch was furious as she turned the book in her hand to dust..

She needed to find him as quickly as possible, before his blood became bad and before her beauty started to deteriorate. And if she wasn't able to locate him, then what would happen? She was so enraged that she stormed down the stairs and into her workroom, where she rounded up a number of books and arranged them on the table in front of her. After taking a seat on a tall stool, she opened the first grimoire with great care. The parchment was brittle and yellowed with age, and in some spots it was falling apart. Rama climbed up onto the table and sat there with his bright yellow eyes fixed intently on Raquel as she flipped through the pages.
