After cleaning the broken tray, Mira excused herself earlier than normal. And the moment she stepped outside the chamber doors— She stopped breathing steadily. Her hands trembled violently. No. She knew what she saw. Twice. Not imagination. Not exhaustion. Something inside that mirror had looked back at her. And smiled. --- That night— Mira avoided mirrors completely. But sleep never came. Because every time she closed her eyes— She saw Elian’s reflection whispering silently through the glass. And somehow— Deep down— She felt certain of one terrifying thing.

It was old, the frame tarnished silver worked into a pattern of vines, the glass itself dark, like looking into a pool of standing water rather than a mirror. My reflection didn’t show up in it the way it should have. I turned it over in my hands, then carried it over to where Melissa was sleeping. “Melissa.” I touched her shoulder. “Wake up. I think I found something.” Her eyes opened, blinking blearily, and then sharpened the second they landed on the mirror in my hands. She sat up straighter.

The hot water provided a physical release, relaxing his tense muscles, but his mind remained a cauldron of seething anger. Steam enveloped the bathroom, a visual representation of the heated emotions coursing through Asher. In a fit of rage, he directed his anger towards a decorative mirror on the wall, pounding it again and again. The bathroom echoed with the sounds of shattered glass, a stark contrast to the calm facade Asher usually presented. This was not the person he wanted to be, and the realization fueled his frustration even more. All of this, he believed, was a consequence of Ezra's actions.

"Emm... I'm Mirabel I said stammering. "Mira, nice name...are u a fresher? He asked looking me over from head to toe. "Of course, I'm even going to the auditorium for my last clearance. "Ohh, thought as much with the files on your hands, I'm walking towards that side. "Alright" I said clutching the files was holding on my chest as I caught him staring at my breasts. I followed her. We kept running till the voices of the demons faded away. We both stopped near the same tree. A tree with a big hole in its log. "They are gone. I saved your life again. But will you do the same for me, Mira?" She asked me again and I nodded my head. "You just nod your head like this every time. I know what you will do next. You will take pills to get rid of me." She yelled at me angrily and I just shook my head.

"Why?" "I'm going to summon Darcy, she could help," Ann brought out her pretty seashell mirror and threw it to me. I caught it and opened the shell. The mirror was made out of still water, not frozen, still liquid but not moving either. It means I didn't need to get it wet. Darcy appeared with a big grin. "Hello, me, again," she said playfully. "How may I help you?" "Look at this," I turned the mirror to the barrier. "How do I get across?" I turned the mirror back to me.

“That’s what you wanted to show me?” “Y-yeah!” I nodded and forced a convincing smile on my lips as I looked at him. “I mean, think about it, it is easy and consumes less time. And isn’t the idea of a one-way mirror refracting light to another mirror fascinating?” Help. I don’t know what I am saying. “Not really.” He blatantly answered. “Not exactly worth the effort. All it does is reflect stable light to make a never-ending illusion. Why don’t we-”

She never had this problem looking in the darkness but this time, it seemed like her senses were limited. She stood before the big mirror with no reflection of herself in it. Just a complete darkness. She raised her hand and reached for the mirror, hoping it would be like any other mirror but instead, her hand went through. With a final glance behind her, Mira walked right into the mirror just to get greeted by a honking sound and an angry man. “Watch where you’re going, woman!” he shouted from his car.

Suddenly, the mirror fogged—on the glass, words began to burn in reverse from within the reflection itself. Glowing Words: “BEWARE THE BLOOD YOU HIDE.” Ceres gasped. The mirror cracked.

And then the bond burns. Not with his pain this time—but something else. Something vast and watching. I freeze. Slowly turn. A mirror stands at the end of the street. Except there’s no street. Just—black water where cobblestones should be, rippling without sound. And the mirror’s frame is made of bone. I take one step toward it—don’t even know why— —and the reflection moves before I do. It smiles. And I realize it’s not me. Not really. Come closer, it whispers.
