Her Triplet Alpha’s Game

Her Triplet Alpha’s Game

I said. This was an unexpected twist, they hadn’t seen this coming. If there was one thing I excelled in, it was catching people off guard. “Okay.” Jake and his brothers nodded. “Let’s get started, shall we?” I clapped my hands. “This is the first of three riddles, you are in a room that is completely bricked in on all four sides, including the ceiling and floor. You have nothing but a mirror and a wooden table in the room with you. How do you get out?”

Cursed by the Alphas

Cursed by the Alphas

I wheeze and wipe the tears from my cheeks, “this definitely is a first. Never thought I’d see a demon admiring himself and calling himself sexy. You’re something else, my friend.” As I slip my phone back in the pocket, Ragh looks disappointed, so I wink at him, “I’ll buy you a small mirror you can carry around and admire yourself whenever you please.” “Mirror,” he hums but clearly doesn’t understand the meaning behind the word. “Yeah, it’s a tiny flat object you can carry around wherever you go and look at yourself. Don’t break your brain thinking about what it means, alright? I’ll explain it when I get one for you.”

Though a Mirror Darkly

Though a Mirror Darkly

I did a good job, too, because it lay hidden there until my sophomore year when one phone call stripped those masks away, laying bare the Truth so I could see myself for what I was. *** As maybe you can imagine I avoid mirrors as much as possible. Can’t be managed all the time, obviously. I do have to shave, comb my hair and brush my teeth occasionally. There’s also the rear-view mirror in my cab, too. That’s somehow the worst. It focuses on my eyes. Everyone’s heard it by now. It’s used in countless stories, poems and movies when someone wants to sound insightful. Eyes are the windows to the soul. Cliché, but remarkably apt. I hate looking into my eyes. They’re dead and flat, which spooks m

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

Chortling, Reigna said, “That’s not a mirror, Beastie. You really have forgotten things, huh! Well anyway, we call it the challenger because every time you enter here, you can’t go to a premise you desired unless you win the challenge.” “Challenge?” “Just wait and see.” The mirror flickered, its surface rounding in a heap that Blame had to close her eyes to stop herself from being swayed by it. Then from the disturbance came a silky female voice. “You dared venture to my dimension. Now you’ll rot here if you lose. Answer my question correctly, and I shall let you pass.” Blame’s heart started drumming, so as Reigna’s. “Oh my! Why does it have to be a question? I’m sorry, Beastie, but I’m not

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

THE GIRL IN THE MANUSCRIPT

THE GIRL IN THE MANUSCRIPT

EPISODE 1 — THE MIRROR The mirror hangs on the dressing room wall, framed in silver so heavy two men would struggle to move it from its mount. In the coffee shop where Mira’s life ended, the only mirrors were the small, smudged squares above the bathroom sinks — scratched with initials and hearts, reflecting faces tired from work and worry. Here, this glass is perfect, polished to a clarity that shows not just reflections but the faint ghost of what was there before. The silver frame carries cold like a block of ice pulled from winter water, and when she presses her palm against it, the metal leaves white marks on her skin that take seconds to fade.

THE REFLECTION GAME

THE REFLECTION GAME

The mirror shone brightly, and the shadows let out a deafening shriek before dissolving into nothingness. --- A New Revelation As the light faded, the group found themselves standing in front of the mirror once more. This time, their reflections were normal. At the base of the mirror, an inscription appeared: “The truth lies within the reflection. Only by accepting yourselves can you move forward.” Anna touched the mirror again, and it revealed a hidden compartment. Inside was a small, glowing crystal. Ryan picked it up, his brow furrowed. “What is this?” “A piece of something bigger,” Anna said, her voice filled with both awe and dread.

To live or to love

To live or to love

Miranda walked into the maid's room and positioned herself in front of the mirror that hung on the wall. It was an old, vintage piece with intricate designs etched into its golden frame. It was a full-length mirror, standing tall and proud against the wall. The glass itself was slightly warped, adding a subtle distortion to the reflection it cast.

A LUNA'S STORY

A LUNA'S STORY

he asked narrowing his eyes, I walked to the mirror this time holding it and checking it "I didn't find anything odd about it but I still feel it is different in a magical way, I think it's me who just canton use it" I said keeping it gently, I lifted it up a little and I could see his reflection on it he didn't seem satisfied with my answer "why do you look like you don't believe me" I asked still looking at his reflection, he looked surprised and I felt as though I had read his mind in the mirror, I was right then, the mirror was magical. Only it was a mind reading mirror, "what did you I came here?" I asked looking at his reflection on the mirror as I waited for the mirror to do its thing

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha

“Remember this: the mirror shows what is true. It shows what it wants. When you seek, be simple. One question. One answer. No bargains. No lies.” A watcher named Jorin put his palm to the black glass and whispered the name of a lost child he wanted to find. The mirror breathed and showed a small face, sleeping under a rock. Jorin’s eyes filled and he stepped away. “Good,” I said. “We will use the mirror to map. Not to bargain. Not to hunt power. It is a tool.” Night came and the castle lit with low fires. I walked the battlements and listened to the patrols. I felt the kingdom move. It was like an animal shifting in sleep. Small muscles tightened. It would wake with speed.

The Mirror Says You're The Murderer

The Mirror Says You're The Murderer

“I didn’t expect you to be the killer. It wasn’t enough that you killed your parents-in-law. Why did you have to kill my mother too?” I looked at the three of them. They all had the same reaction. I froze for a moment. How was that possible? A mirror was just a mirror. It showed whoever stood in front of it. How could it show my face no matter who looked into it? But their grief did not look fake. What was so strange about that mirror? How could it make my wife, my trainee, and my neighbor all believe I was the killer? “I didn’t kill your mother. It wasn’t me.”
