Rowan's gaze swept across everyone gathered. "Before I lost consciousness... one of the cloaked figures spoke to me." The chamber became still. "I couldn't understand him then. But I remember now." He paused."He said... 'Find the Raven.'" The words echoed through the chamber. Most of the elders exchanged puzzled glances. "The Raven?" one warrior repeated. "I've never heard that name."

I asked, I just hoped he hadn't done something crazy like giving it to another pack, other packs were weaker and Derek could command any of their alphas to give it up and they would. Holden mumbled, resuming his smoking. Raven stopped on her track on walking past a room whose door was slightly open. Stepping back, she slowly fully opened the door before stepping in. The room turned out to be study room because different books can be seen arranged in shelves and their was a study table with a lamp stand on it and books littered on the table. On the walls were pictures of definitely unknown people. Raven's eyes widened when it caught something on the table. The one pendant she has been looking for. It was right before her, pleading and begging her to grab it.

I laugh at her words. "You can't help us. How about you go back to the guys and forget you saw us? We will be gone soon." I turn to avoid looking at her and see Raven. My eyes widen when I see the guy dancing on her lap. Shit. Turning I look down at my glass instead. I hear Ruth standing. "Come on boys, I could help. I might have who you need, all you need to do is ask." Turning, I look at her and she smiles, winking at me. She said 'Who'. Does that mean she knows who we're looking for?
