My heart races, fear coursing through my veins, as I realise that the bullet narrowly missed its mark. The shock of the moment starts to fade, replaced by a chilling realisation: the bullet is silver. Panic sets in as I comprehend that my supernatural healing abilities won’t save me this time. The urgent need to remove the silver bullet pulses through my body, a desperate race against time to cheat death.

That bullet is only ever destined to hit Chiri Krane.”

ASTRID was just about to turn off the moon night light on her night stand when she heard a knock at her door. It was Bullet, his hair already scruffy.
