Romans & histoires Rise Up From The Ashes

With a violent burst, the mountaintop shattered, and a beam of fire shot into the sky, dispelling the shadows that loomed above. The fierce flames drove away the darkness, and light bathed the land. The shadows retreated swiftly as if fearful of the flames. The darkness above Mount Regent was forced back, and the long-absent sun finally shone upon the mountain. As the light spread, the zombies that once roamed turned to ashes. Miguel, Daisy, Thunder, and the other soldiers who were supposed to have perished, slowly opened their eyes. "W-We’re alive?" "Am I dreaming?"

That’s when she learns to fight back, to be her most vicious self that even the demons of hell fear and cower from. Or so it is said… I’m a woman with a vendetta. A woman scorned and a woman torn apart till there were only ashes left of her. But I rose from those ashes long ago. And I will keep on rising no matter how many times I am burned, scorched and shatters. Because there is nothing more dangerous than a woman who has learned to rise from her ashes; who has been violated countless times and has learned to use her body as a weapon…who has been broken and scattered to the ground …before she has learned to dust off those parts of her like fine dust on the road.

A battle unforeseen. I lost my men. My lover. My wealth. My fame. My eye. The only thing remaining was my life and two of my trusted men— Igor and Tits. I heard news that Michael and his clan celebrated my death. Of course, they would. But he didn’t know that I died to rise again. I’m a Phoenix, so no matter how many deaths, I’ll rise. I’ve risen. That’s why I am here in this underground bunker a few cities away from L.A., rebuilding my empire from the ashes. Gathering men loyal to me.

It was this visceral, electric feeling of victory, surrendering to the universe itself holding its breath, waiting to see what I would do next. This was only the start. Аlone the first few threads of the way I was spinning. But oh, when I was finished? When all was said and done? The Ashford Pack would be nothing but ash blown to the wind. The loyalty, the sacred bond between the two — all busted. Beyond repair. Beyond hope. And when they fell, when their world shattered and smoldered away to nothing, the witches—my kind—would rise from the ashes. Stronger. Unstoppable. Like a reborn phoenix, only more vicious. Hungrier. Prepared to take back what had always belonged to us.

"As of nine o'clock this morning, my mother's shares have been legally restored to my name, giving me full, absolute ownership of this entire empire. You are all officially stripped of your positions. "The managers look at each other in absolute horror, realizing their greedy rain of terror has come to a sudden end. "You can't do this to us! We built this company with your father!" another manager yells out in a desperate panic. Violet slowly leans back in her leather chair, a triumphant, mocking smile playing on her lips. She signals to Soren’s large, muscular bodyguards who stand menacingly by the door. "I can, and I just did. Every single one of you is fired for financial fraud, effective

Below us the pack howled in celebration. We had survived the fire. We had survived the betrayal. We had survived the monsters. We were the Blackwood Pack. And we were rising.

She could feel it in her bones—this was just the beginning. Outside, the wind howled, but Asha felt something different in the air now. A spark. A flicker of hope that had been buried for far too long. She wasn’t alone anymore. The fight had begun. And as she looked at Darian, she saw the same resolve in his eyes. They weren’t just surviving anymore. They were rising. Together. “Then let’s get started,” Asha said, her voice full of determination. “It’s time to fight for what’s ours.”

He wobbled across the patio on unsteady legs, his cheeks flushed from the cold, giggling as he chased a stray leaf. I scooped him up before he could tumble into the snow. He was different from Adrian. Where Adrian was shadows and steel, Ash was light. He had my eyes and a laugh that could melt the iciest corner of a room. We had named him Ash because, after the fire that took everything, something had risen from the blood and the ruin. He was our rebirth. "Are you keeping your brother out of trouble?" I asked, kissing Ash’s cold nose. Ash gurgled, grabbing a fistful of my hair.

killed me? Fuck this. I cannot allow myself to sit here and spiral into a dark hole of self pity. I sit up and swing my legs over the bed in one swoop. I pad over to my wardrobe and grab my running gear that I was so graciously gifted to me from this shit ass school. A black sports bra with matching black leggings. Simple, yet effective.
