The room itself was magnanimous. There was a huge stage on the other end of me with the most ostentatious couch. It was long, maroon with gold detailing and gold handles. In front of me, there was a pathway, and on either side of it was a waterfall—that’s right, a waterfall inside—that fell into a pool of water. It smelled like roses, something familiar, and pleasant. As I walked the sound of my steps followed behind me a few seconds later. “Wow,” I said. I got to the other side and saw the falls from the other side. It really was beautiful. I turned to the stage and instantly became mesmerized by the couch. The gold detailing had painted a story of a human transforming into a wolf.

Noah reaches forward and shakes Lexon's hand. "I'm Noah, I'm the Luna here of River Pack." Noah said. Noah looked at him confused when Lexon raised his eyebrow at him. Noah raised an eyebrow at Lexon, when he noticed the vampire was sniffing him. Lexon's nose continued to flare, as he sniffed quite loudly, and his head moved closer to Noah, bending down to sniff him. Lexon looked at Noah confused, and shocked. "You smell... very good!" The vampire said, grabbing Noah's arm and pulling him closer, dropping his head to sniff Noah better.

Jaime didn't take Phoenix's death too well, either. Nobody took Phoenix’s death lightly. Phoenix was eighteen when he died. River and I were only sixteen.

I smile, throwing my shoulders back. Three of them burst into fits of laughter, whilst Maddox stares at me with a strange look in his eyes, one I didn’t even want to decipher, I had boiled it down to either sex or murder, neither of which I would appreciate.
