Valerie enjoyed her day reading a book while savoring the hot coffee on the table nearby. She was currently in a park not far from her current home. Valerie had returned to New York City and had been living here for almost a month. But, until now, Valerie had never once seen Arthur's face. He seemed to have completely disappeared from Valerie's sight, Arthur keeping all his promises. Did Valerie feel sad after Arthur departed from her life? Yes, she did.

Valerie had been dating her current boyfriend for a little over a year now. David’s father had gotten killed in a work accident when Valerie was still pregnant.
