Road To Valhalla Novels & Stories

Tyr began to walk ahead yet his mind was still stuck in a certain time and place. Valhalla, some say is a place where the heroes are welcomed with honor, a place of rejoicing and an end to weeping. Well, that is what mortals know. In a place where the sun never sets nor shines ablaze. In this place where a dreamy sea dances in its own symphony. The song of placidity is contrary to what was visible in the mortal's eyes. For in this place, is where all his agony had started. That is their heaven.

The cool night air hit my face, tasting of imminent freedom. “Listen to me,” Alan said, his hands catching mine. “Don't take the King’s Road. There is a deer path two miles east of the old mill. It’s a shortcut through the ravine. It will take you straight to the Troll bridge.” I nodded briskly as he went on. “The terrain is too rough for horses. They won't be able to follow you easily, so you have time to hurry across to the city of thieves. Then from there, I'm sure you can charm your way into getting escorted back to your people.”

Since the beginning of my birth, I already had a desire to fight against strong opponents, challenging myself again and again, but, to be honest, this was the first time that I had come across someone that I genuinely wanted to destroy, not just because he was strong— It's the end of the line for you, you trashy bastard. Slowly approaching the target, I spoke with a low voice. "You're dead…." * * * "They're getting pushed back…" Valhalla announced as she rode the White Tiger as she slashed against a group of Ice Walkers; a group of yeti-like monsters that usually appeared in large numbers at cold locations. "Go forth! Azure Dragon of The East!" Valhalla called and a large

When it came time to fill out our college applications, my family focused all their attention on my brother, who suffered from severe claustrophobia. My mother pored over the dorm room sizes at several universities in our city. "Let's just stay local," she said. "It's closer to home, and it'll be easier to take care of Cyrus." Maya Simmons, my girlfriend of three years, even changed her first choice, giving up a university where she had planned to study political science and law in favor of a local teachers college. "Don't worry, Mrs. Lockwood," she said. "I'll stay here and keep him company. I'll look after Cyrus for you throughout all four years of college." My father looked at her, v

"He's coming, but, when I can't tell you." Dreading the next few days couldn't happen. I had to be calm. Getting the packs together was going to be hard. We were the biggest pack in America. We stayed in the HOH Rainforest of Washington State. Seattle was a little over four hours away. There was also Port Angeles and Oylimpia. Near us stood Mt. Olympus. Not the one in Greece, but the same name. Suddenly I froze. "There's no way. Is there?" Hercules said startled. "It has to be a coincidence. They were named many years apart "

Off she drove unto the asphalt and sped up like a thief on a run. Val didn't get to the road that led to the witches kingdom until almost ten at night. She didn't know that the place was a little bit far. She had followed the map that Jason had drawn up for her. she was feeling tired by now and even Sophie was now asleep. The journey was so frustrating and tedious. She had missed the road a couple of times, but had still traced back her road.

The Road into the Hollow The morning rain had entirely washed the valley air, leaving the steep mountain pass of the central valleys wrapped in a thick, fragrant fog that smelled of wild thyme, wet granite, and damp earth. Outside the eastern portico of the Citadel, the massive, titanium-armored black corporate van hummed with a low, uniform vibration, its specialized high-traction tires glistening under the pale, rising mountain sun.

•• Charlotte’s POV ••• The DeathValley, also known as the Valley of Death, just like its name, was a place full of valley and steep cliffs surrounded by a vast sea. It was a precipitous place, once entered, it was easy to get lost. It was a forbidden place for werewolves. “Lottie… The smoke is too thick here…” Hayden said and Rhett tried to break through the thick smoke surrounding us. “We have to go further into the valley.”

If only he’d be silent and aloof, he’ll be much more handsome than before. Too bad! This man was a total jerk! Hellion humped coldly as she stared daggers to his sturdy back. After walking for too long in the darkness, they finally reached the end of the Road of Cursed Eyes . Hellion gasped as the out of this world sight greeted her pair of eyes. A stone castle covered in thorns can be seen on the horizon while a layer of stairs were elevated towards the castle. The purplish skies became darker and the surrounding was gloomier. It’s as if they were close to the edge of the world where nothingness lies.

“What if it’s not data? What if it’s… something else? Something he hid for us to find?” “Then we’ll find it,” I said. Her eyes flicked toward me, searching for something I wasn’t sure I had left to give — faith, maybe. “And if it’s something that changes everything?” I didn’t answer. Because I already knew it would. We passed a rusted sign half-buried in vines — VALENCIA 118 KM. The letters were fading, eaten away by time, but they still pointed the way forward. Lena leaned back in her seat. “I used to love road trips,” she murmured. “Before all this. Windows down, music loud enough to drown the world.”
