The Conqueror's Royal Slave

Lady Jas
he admitted, crossing his knee over his left leg in an attempt to appear nonchalant. “Only in his cups,” Drago roared, slapping the table with his huge palm. His face sobered. “Though we did run across that woman masquerading as a soldier once.” “What happened to her?” “You don’t need to know, my love,” Flora said, patting the girl’s knee. “I had a royal tutor in my youth. He found ancient Grecia fascinating and especially the notion that a race existed who didn’t need to mate to reproduce. Like in the insect world.”

I’ve read all the book in this spin off series from the original Guardian series. This is by far my favorite of the 4. There’s some overlap but I feel it brings all tho other books together. The story is fantastic and the characters make you feel. I will definitely read this one again.

THE WRONG TWIN FOR THE RIGHT ALPHA

THE WRONG TWIN FOR THE RIGHT ALPHA

“Just let it tear me apart, like it did with the wolves down below.” “I'm sure the Goddess will be by your side.” Roc looked at the sky, making me follow his gaze towards the moon, which appeared larger and brighter that night. “Hell, I hope so!” I exclaimed angrily. “And know that if I die, I'll make sure to come back for revenge!” Wide-eyed, Roc turned to me. “Are you threatening a deity? Aren't you afraid of her wrath?” “Fear for my life is all I feel!” I replied, trembling. “Well, you all run off with your tails between your legs. I'll face this monster!”

The Charm Of Darkness

The Charm Of Darkness

It was our second anniversary, a time when things were simpler. — From what I read, the legend is about a king of Ancient Greece, Lycaon, who always killed those who stayed in his palace... one night, Zeus disguised himself as an old man, and asked the king for shelter, who somehow discovered that he was Zeus, so as a form of blasphemy and mockery, he served human flesh to the God of Olympus, who cursed him to become a monster, a wolf.

The Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

The Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

Draco winced at the thought of his father, King Cormac, who in history was now recognized as the Butcher but was once adored by Draco. He remembered the time he spent with his father growing up, as he taught Draco kingly etiquette, sparring, and alpha command. He made him memorize the names of the seven gods of Bloomington and their deeds as he led him through the temple. Draco particularly loved the story of Gharok, the god of creation, who was married to a beautiful damsel named Selene, one of his creations. The legend said that Gharok loved Selene so much that he made her the goddess of the moon.

She continued reading: “However, unbeknownst to the goddesses, the Ouroboros Princess harbored a secret love for another of her own kind. Dark, Twisted but really good. At first the story is Dark with too much Twisted scenes. Romance development it's the Best trait in this story. I enjoy it a lot, yet it's not perfect, half the story it's too much to handle with really disturbing scenes. Also I like better the second couple. congrats!

I love this story and writing! The story of Lylah grew on me and where the second part took her. This book became more than the Lycan King’s craving, and it’s now our craving. If you haven’t read this yet I suggest you do! But uh, when will you write more??? Please do. We need to see this through!...

The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!
