I think they smell that way to warn packed werewolves away from them. Most rogues live in their wolf forms and become more and more feral and savage the longer they stay in that form, so they can be dangerous and unpredictable if you come across them.” “Do I smell like that?” I asked, sitting up and studying him. “Yes, but I’ve gotten used to your smell now. I almost don’t even notice it anymore.”

“Then why are you with them?” The young man shakes his head, “I was kicked out of my pack after making a stupid mistake, and the rogues were the only ones I could turn to. They made me come here by saying they’d kick me out too.” “Then tell me, why are the rogues attacking my pack?” “Because you have leverage we—they need,” he answers. “What leverage? Does the rogue leader think he can take down official packs and get enough power to overthrow the Lycan King?”

The Storm Pack warriors used their superior tactics to their advantage, flanking the rogues and cutting them off from each other. As I watched from the shadows, I saw the head rogue charge a storm pack warrior with a snarl, their bodies colliding with a sickening thud. They grappled fiercely, their teeth snapping inches from each other's throats. The head rogue managed to land a powerful blow, sending the werewolf sprawling; without hesitation, the head rogue then followed up with a vicious bite to the wolf's throat. Its body went limp in a few moments.

“I don’t know about that. Compassion and strength go hand in hand. They also come in pairs.” “Shut up, Lor, and focus on your magic. I’m not adding more work to my plate.” Her cackle echoed in the forest, but she bounded ahead of me. That was the last thing I wanted. I was sure it was the last thing the rogues wanted as well. Just then, a man pushed through the crowd and stepped in front of Derek. “Alpha, give the word—we’re ready.” It was his Beta, voice calm but filled with authority. Kelvin froze, as if struck by lightning. “What… what did you call him? Alpha?” he stuttered. Derek tilted his head, smirking. “Do you doubt the existence of the Rogue Pack?” Kelvin didn’t answer. His lips moved but no words came out. Alex, still seated, looked stunned. “Wait… that Rogue Pack? The one that’s invaded territory after territory over the past years? The one with the mysterious Alpha no one has ever seen?”

We don’t need to make it a debate or tell you what we are here for but for clearing up any misunderstanding, we are gathered to make a decision. Should the rouge pack be part of us? A rogue pack. They were rare, but they weren’t unheard of. Most rogues eventually lost themselves to madness. They wandered alone, driven by little more than instinct until nothing remained of the people they had once been. To bad he would not be able to help me escape, he must be loyal to his Alpha or he would be kicked out of the pack and end up turning rogue. Which meant no leader and other packs kill rogue on sight due to their lawlessness and no loyalty. They are like rodents eating your vegetables in the garden. No one liked rogues. Funny enough that is what I was, my brother and parents. We had to leave our pack behind because of Alpha Keeram, many packs feared him. Unfortunately mine was one of them, my Alpha Jake feared him so much so, that he was going to hand me over like a present. That's why we had no other choice but to go rogue and hide.
