They had all been fast asleep late last night when Blade barged into their homes and held a knife against their necks, forcing them to sell him their shares at a low price and telling them that they only had until noon to decide.

Moving my legs over the edge of my bed, I sat up straighter and grabbed my jeans, before pulling them on.

I put what I am doing to the side and gestured for him to take a seat. "Owen, I need to talk to you about something. I do not want you to take offense, but it's about rogues." I nod. Rogues often give packs trouble; somehow, I am an exception. Probably because I attempt to communicate with the wolf packs and live on neutral territory, it probably also helps that they come to my club. "I am not sure what help I can be," I don't associate with many wolves, other than those who work or are members of the club.

A warrior stepped forward and placed a small evidence bag on the table, metal shards, dark with oil and grit. Adam’s fingers tapped it once. “Brake-line cutter,” Adam said softly. “Specialized tool. Not something a random drifter has in their pocket.” The male rogue’s eyes flicked to it.

“What?” Margo asked, sighing with annoyance. “Woah! I just wanted to buy you a drink.” He said, holding up his hands in surrender. “What for?” She asked, raising a brow even as she continued to walk away. Blade nodded at his men, who were helping pick up Maddog and Thrasher. He quickly followed after this new woman that had his blood rushing south. He wasn’t the type to chase after someone but she was just interesting enough that he didn’t care that she had basically dismissed him with a single look.

There was no record of a Blade bodyguard betraying the heir. “I already have a team,” Caddaric said but Allan was still not going to give up. If he was able to win over Caddaric, then Caddaric would help him to talk to his father. He knew how bad Casper Blade’s temper was. That demon would put a bullet in Allan’s head before asking for his reason for infiltrating the Blade Towers. “Carter and Colton? They feed on my network. I made the software used by the Blades.”
