Any more than that, I might get writer's block which I avoid. To my surprise and disappointment, however, I received news that my new Romance story, ' Sunset with Me,' was rejected without solid reasons. What annoys and disappoints me is not the fact that I got my first ever rejection because, for every outline I submit, I prepare myself with any result; what annoys me is the fact that it is only rejected not because I failed somewhere, but because they want me to try and write a spicier, a more mature story with bed scenes. An Erotic Romance book this time, as my editor said. I admit that ever since I chose my passion as my job, writing anything beyond wholesome stories has never crossed my

“I will take a look through now. Don’t worry, I’m a quick reader and I've been doing this for years." As she read through the manuscript, he felt self conscious. A professional editor was reading his work in front of him. If she hated it, he would see her reaction first hand. “Do you have any experience in writing?” she asked as she turned a page. “I have a degree in English Literature and I have published two ebooks before,” he replied. “Did the ebooks do well?” “I’ve made some money. Nothing life changing,” Leo said with a sigh. It was hard to get big with ebooks. He had written a straight romance because it had seemed easy at the time. Its still early in the afternoon so I decide to do some light reading. Reece got over his possessive BS and let me carry on working. So, after the two months I’ve been working with as his assistant, Roy decided it’s time to let me shadow an editor in my spare time, which isn't much but it's a start. The editor is such a nice female. Her name is Helietta and she is a 600 year old fae who has been editing since the first printing press so I have a CRAP TONNE to learn from her. I sit all tucked up on one of the wicker chair on my office patio. I turn to the next chapter of one of the project books she gave me to edit. It's nothing big but it's still something. Immediately I'm hooked. Sounds sta

It's a book about a romance editor who helps authors find their authentic voices, and how his editorial philosophy transforms not just their work but their understanding of healthy relationships." Jake's expression grew amazed and touched. "Emma, are you writing a book about an editor who's the hero of his own story?" Emma's smile was mischievous and loving. "I'm writing a book about how the best editors don't just fix manuscripts they create space for authors to discover strengths they didn't know they had. Jake, I'm writing about you." Jake pulled Emma closer, both of them laughing with joy at the perfect symmetry of Emma now creating fiction that hon

As I stood at the doorstep minutes later, I took a deep breath before I pushed the door open and walked into the editors' office, since he asked me to check with them first when I come here today, before I go to his office for another meeting. I now have a new editor, and her name is Jasmine Zhang. Jasmine Zhang is a Chinese young, sweet, and beautiful lady that is down to Earth. Just as she is beautiful outside, she also has a heart of gold.

said one of the editors at the publishing company where I work. I'm happy they accepted me immediately, and they even had a welcome party for me. Now that I'm the editor-in-chief, I have my own office. I'm excited for my new job, and I can't help but be excited because I never thought I'd be like Mr. Nunes. I'm already in my office starting my work. I'm checking the submissions from the editors, as well as the illustrations and the publication of books. While I'm reading a manuscript that was submitted to me, I heard a knock on my office door. I paused what I was doing and let in the person who knocked earlier.

Usually I do notice mistakes AFTER publishing them. The point is I am writing books because I am a hopelessly romantic person. But when I read rude comments, it does affect my creativity. Before typing your reviews please keep in mind that on the other side, there is a human reading them. Believe me I am open to positive criticism and keep workin
