He moved closer to her again but this time, she was prepared and understood what he was. She lunged on her feet in fright and prepared to flee. But she had barely moved two steps when that figure appeared in front of her again.

I was directed to the shelf that contained books on mystical beings. I picked the first book I could lay my hands on and opened it to the chapter where vampires were discussed. "I guess you love fairy tales," I turned to see a young man, dressed in a black suit. His hands were in his pocket as he was grinning widely at me. I cocked my eyebrow. "Vampires aren't necessarily classified as fairy tales" I corrected him. "You could say so. I mean they're different, strange, and strong. They ain't human"

he said, stepping closer to her. Anne hissed, pushing him aside. "Save your explanations for fools." She walked past him, heading outside, her hand covering her injury. Alexander took a deep sigh, following her with his hands stuck in his pockets. An empty look crossed his face as he knew he had lied to Anne. Being a vampire made it impossible for him to resist blood, especially at the sight of it. Although he drank from cups rather than directly from humans, the sight of Anne's blood darkened his eyes, and his craving intensified beyond his control. He had no choice but to flee the classroom before anyone noticed what was happening to him.
