Zane didn’t let go. His eyes cut to Sullivan. “Training isn’t about comfort. You learned to fight by being pushed. So did I. Or do you want her to stay weak forever?”
Sullivan’s jaw tightened. He didn’t answer.
Zane lowered his voice again, meant only for me. “I can teach you moves all day, kitten, but they mean nothing if you can’t use them. Ronan showed you how to kick. Now prove you can make me release you. Throat, knee, whatever it takes.”
