With that, Luna Samantha walked away. I stood there for a minute, trying to wonder what she was talking about. But then the scent hit me again. 'GO FIND MATE' May yelled in my head. It snapped me out of my trance, and I headed for Masons' room. As I stood infront of his door, my heart continued pounding. His scent was very strong, so I could tell the smell was coming from him. But something was off. Mixed with his scent was something vile. Like raw sewage. I knocked on his door, but no answer. I grabbed the key to his room he gave my out of my pocket, and quickly unlocked his door and walked in. I never could have prepared myself for what I saw.

The smell of smoke never left her. Even after five years, Inés still woke up coughing some nights, the phantom scent of ash curling through her dreams like a ghost refusing to rest. “Name?” the guard at the Delgado estate gate asked, his voice flat but suspicious. She looked behind her to see that he was nowhere to be seen. She looked sideways and then saw him staring at the group of roses.

I need to make an apology, so a countable rose wouldn’t show how much I owe her an apology, isn’t it?” Shishir said with a smile.

Lia said and I nodded, swallowing hard. I stared at the familiar writing on the paper. Written on the paper was some sort of riddle in the form of a poem. Weird. "What does it say?" Lee asked. "Roses are red Violets are blue I gave my little man A bunch of gardenias" I couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't clear but I knew what she was trying to make me remember. Lee raised a brow. "Didn't know you were into flowers. How the hell did I not know?" Lee said.

Second, I want you to say yes to go out with me tomorrow.” “And after I go out with you tomorrow?” I asked. “You will decide if you want to stay or not.” Does he think he will be so charming then I’ll fall in love with him? “I know you are having doubts as to—” “Yes,” I said. “I agree. I would forgive you and go out with you tonight. Then that’s it. You will make sure we never meet again.” He tilted his head, and a twinkle flashed in his eyes. He has a way of smiling with just his eyes. It is so eye-catching.

He heard some rustling ahead by the rose plantation so he approached. He sighed he relief when he saw Sebastian sitting on a bench by the rose flowers. "Here you are." Sebastian didn't raise his head to him. Zeke joined him on the bench. Non of them said anything for the first two minutes until Zeke broke the awkward silence.

The maids then dragged the two of them out of the castle grounds, and soon, their loud cries and screams couldn't be heard anymore. The sun began to set, bathing the vast castle grounds in a bright orange glow. Jason's and Eric's gazes fixed on the bare stump of the apple tree in the garden. The apple tree was gone now, and the garden was filled with lavender. The little garden that Rosa used to love so much was no longer there. Avril had been the one diligently tending to it after Rosa left the world, but now, she had left as well.

Rosie stared at him dully, letting out a bitter laugh. "You just- you had to build it all up for this? You're doing this now, while you're in this state? Do you see how much you're killing me, Anthony?"
