Royal Mysteries Novels & Stories

I only cared that the door stood unguarded. I slipped inside before I could second-guess the opportunity. Shelves of sealed documents lined the walls from floor to ceiling, each one stamped with the royal crest — Reino de Luna. Dust hung thick in the air, undisturbed for what looked like years. A dusty frame on the corner desk caught my eye, and something in me — some instinct I couldn't name — refused to let me walk past it. I wiped the glass clean with the edge of my sleeve, gently, as though the portrait beneath might shatter if I moved too quickly.

Was the matter really that grave this time? I quickened my pace through the endless corridors of the palace. When I finally reached the royal study, the two guards outside the carved wooden doors straightened instantly. "His Majesty is waiting for you, Your Highness," one of them said, bowing respectfully. I acknowledged him with a nod and pushed the doors open. The scent of old books and sandalwood greeted me immediately. The large study was dimly lit, illuminated only by golden lamps and the fire crackling in the fireplace. Shelves lined every wall, filled with ancient records and leather-bound books.

I will go home to my family for the holidays and then to the bears. We finally arrive at Mystic Coven. The Royal Palace is something out of a fairytale. It is literally carved into the mountain and has several levels. It’s like the castle sits on, in, and around the mountain. I’m told that the castle is literally the mountain. The lower levels are inside the mountain. This castle has been around for centuries. We are greeted by the Royal family once we enter the castle. “Greetings councilman Bari. Alpha Clark, it is good to see you again my friend.” Prince Julian says.

Dangerous. I turned to the maid who had been hovering quietly by the wall. “Can you find out what’s happening?” I asked softly. She hesitated only a second before nodding. “I’ll be back,” she said as she slipped out. The seconds stretched.. When the maid returned, her face was pale. “My lady,” she said quietly, closing the door behind her. “There are royals here. From the Valenti–Blood Moon pack.” The words hit me like a blow.

But I also realized how little I knew about this Royal species. Some rumors were written off as just that, and others suddenly became a reality. I never knew they studied females, inside and outside, to try solving the curse that way. Figure out if there was anything in their anatomy or genes that caused the problem of birthing girls and so on, but by then, it was too late. They sent a golden scale decorated with their seal on one side and their acceptance of the invite on the other. Three days they would arrive in three days. We broke into a frantic wave of people, fearing what was to come but also preparing to receive the only Royalty we had on this planet. Well, you know, this was before

Soft golden lights pulse gently in the walls like the whole building is breathing. As we continue our walk, Zara points to different wings, explaining things as we go. “That is the Council Hall. And that large curved building is where the Royal Archives are kept. You'll love it, they contain scrolls and records older than most supernatural kingdoms.” Listening to her talk makes me more aware of how huge this world is and how little I know about it. And yet, deep down, I feel like I’m meant to be here. We approach the back gardens, and I pause.

Royal Wedding Micah sat in front of the dressing mirror, her swollen eyes covered with makeup, her brown hazel eyes drained of life, and her face masked with contour. Her long black hair was brushed and styled into a sophisticated low bun; a hairpin, which extended as a veil, concealed her face but was transparent and easy for the eyes to peer through. Micah was wearing a white gown with red color tints at the bottom of the dress. Heavy necklaces rested on her chest like a burden, and a black diamond earring dangled on both sides of her ears.

“Should I ask the maids to bring it up?” He laughed and grabbed my hand, pulling me up with him. “They don't come to us, we go to them. These are the Royal Secrets, no one else aside royalty is supposed to set eyes on them. There is a room where they're kept but I removed them when the madness started in order to be safe. No one knows it's been moved yet.” That was very interesting. I took Chase out of the room and sent him back to his room because I obviously couldn't take him with me.

"she was pointing at the invitation card "Oh this,it was with the money I…" "Gosh my lady,we are in trouble"she sound aggregated "What is it?" "This is the invitation to the palace, noble ladies pay and do a lot of things to get this, getting it gives them 50% assurance of being the future Queen"she explained "Ok,so what has it got to do with me?" "It has a lot to do,noble ladies do all they can to get it,even the mistress I work for is desperately looking for this"

Summer shot back without thinking. Probably because of what happened in her past life, she naturally felt safer when she was around Mason. She tended to let her guard down around him. Mason didn't even lift his head. After finishing with her wrist, he carefully applied medicine before wrapping it gently in soft gauze. He said, "Royal Financial Group started off as a luxury brand. After I took over, I expanded into other industries. Now, my uncles want to separate the original business from the rest, leaving me with only the newer ventures."
