Falling for the CEO

Falling for the CEO

The kids description did no justice to how beautiful the water fountain looked in person. “It was my dad's favorite,” Nate said proudly. “The fountain was built in memory of his mother who passed away during childbirth” Ruby nodded as she took in how beautiful and tranquil the Andalusian style fountain was. “I would give you a tour of the house” he said to her and gently squeezed her thigh Ruby had felt her heart skip two beats when his hands were placed on her thighs. The material of the dress was thin so she could feel the warmth and roughness of his thigh.

Shadow of Yesterday

Shadow of Yesterday

Cole stepped beside him and placed his arm on Adam’s shoulders. “Some forgotten legendary sculptor from ancient Rome made the fountain on the demand of his King. The King’s love had left him in his teenage years and dishonored him. So he wanted something to remember her by. The artist took the job as he knew the King closely. When the fountain arrived, the king took one look at it before running away in tears. The mermaid closely resembles the woman the king had loved but there was something sinister hidden in it,” Mr. Cole explained and Adam listened attentively.

The Lycan King's Breeder

The Lycan King's Breeder

I suddenly asked. Dawn shrugged, taking the basket from the maid. "Thank you," She said to her and then turned to me. "I don't know. Something about the royal property and stuff." "Oh," I exclaimed as we walked further. It wasn't fair that other people couldn't use the beautiful garden. "But don't worry, as soon as Emily returns we can sleep in here if we want," Dawn said with enthusiasm. She walked faster and I could see a fountain just ahead of us. There was a statue of a wolf at the center and water spewed from the top of its head.

Renee.
GREAT BOOK! I loved this! Such a nice, simple read with enough plot twists to keep it interesting. Only critique is that chapter sucked! It felt rushed and I don’t agree with Talon still loving Willow, it didn’t fit with the character POVs!

This is a good read. Well rounded characters but I feel the author decided at some she had to make Willow a villain to justify the love between the King and the breeder. Emily’s character is very irritating.

The Way You Taste

The Way You Taste

And I don’t want her to. As we walk on, the somber tone of our conversation gradually lifts, but the air between us is still charged. We reach a clearing, and there, in the center, stands a breathtaking fountain, with angels carved from stone. “The wishing fountain,” the guide announces in awe. “Legend has it that if you toss a coin into the fountain and it shimmers under the moonlight, your wish will be granted.” “Think there’s any truth to that?” Willow asks, raising a playful eyebrow at me, her seriousness all but gone.

Alpha's slave, the eternal submission

Alpha's slave, the eternal submission

Florence says and we begin to make our way upon the stone pathway that leads into the courtyard of the castle. At the centre of the large spaced courtyard—one which is large as a farm field stands a magnificent fountain. In it water cascades from the mouths of stone dragons perched at the fountain's edges, their fierce expressions are frozen in time. The dragons' scales are in a way that makes them seem almost alive.

Fake Bond of the Lycan Lords

Fake Bond of the Lycan Lords

Their voices are cheerful, but the language is still a wall of noise I cannot break through. The man pulls me past a row of low huts. Between two red walls, something bright catches my eye. A silver flash. I wrench my wrist out of his grip with a violent twist. I do not look back to see his reaction. I sprint down the dark alleyway between the two stone structures. I stop at the end of the path. My mouth drops open. A circular stone pool sits in the centre of a small square. Water bubbled up from the middle, perfectly clear, glittering under the dead grey sky. It is the exact same fountain from the glade of the moon goddess.

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

“We should get up to the ruins.” Salvaxe hesitated for a single breath, his gaze lingering on the broken cable and the way the water’s roar seemed to be intensifying with every passing second. “Fine,” he said, exhaling sharply. “But if this is a trap, I am not saying I told you so.” They followed the narrow tunnel back toward the surface, the path winding upward through the dark throat of the mountain. As they emerged from the cave mouth, the afternoon sun had begun its descent, casting long, bloody streaks of crimson across the sky. The ruins above sat like a broken crown upon the hillside. They hiked up the mountain as quickly as they could. When they reached the courtyard, the only one th

The Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

The Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

She felt that same fear for Edrand as she did the first time she saw him on the castle ground. Both of them stared at the fountain. The water bursting from the central jet with such mesmerizing liquid energy. Isolde and Roga silently gazed at it as the water roared in the air before cascading down into the basin with a shimmery turquoise glow. "The fountain reminds me of two souls that were in love," Roga broke the silence. Her words capturing Isolde's attention. "Who were they?" "A boy and a very pretty girl. Her family is among the three leading families in the whole of Bloomington," Roga released a long sigh.

My Royal Kidnapper

My Royal Kidnapper

“I’m sorry, madam. I’m just a driver. But maybe you should visit and see some places that play huge significant value to the history of Capria.” “See? You’re not just a driver. Tell me about the King?” “Ahh. America has no monarch, yeah? The first king was King Kamrun—” “Who?” “King Kamrun of Braynburg?” “Oh, and the current King?” “He’s critically ill.” His people must love the King if he didn't rule like in that 15th-century monarchies. “I’m sorry to hear about that.” My chest felt hollow. “The Prince apparent is Prince Isodore, Duke of Burkhese. You should visit Burkhese. It’s a great place, surrounded by the ocean. If you want to visit a little bit colder than Winterbourn, try Guardion.

Fajra Meets the Alpha

Fajra Meets the Alpha

“But no, it’s not a divine power like you’re thinking. It’s just because that last time she said some words to me, I almost felt my death coming.” I didn’t get what he said that’s why I just rolled my eyes. Whatever reminiscence he has now, I don’t care. Oh yeah. This one actually believes that I am the Fajra he knows. That I am the princess of the kingdom Zunumbra that he’s saying and that I'm destined to free my nation Amare. Wow, I can't believe I remembered all that. "You know what? In fairness to you, you can write a good book. Children will like your stories.” I said, shrugging my shoulders.
