Vengeance of The Rejected Mate

Vengeance of The Rejected Mate

The table was red in color, maybe to indicate the difficulty of handling the weapons. The ones placed on a yellow fabric were scythes of various designs and lengths, which were also accompanied with daggers, lengthy swords, and some metal chain that has a heavy, pointed iron on its edge. The table that was tinted with a blue hue was filled with sorcerer's items and talismans, which I would probably not be able to use as I don't have those types of powers that can manipulate magic at will. "These are all interesting," I whispered to myself. Although there was actually a certain weapon that caught my attention, and it was none other than the scarlet scythe on the yellow table.

Now within, I could see the array of metals of different shapes and sizes draped and dangling from different angles of the room. It wasn’t a very large space, but it was not so small either. Judging by how damp the place smelled, it was not hard to tell that he did not get visitors often. How would he? He was located in the middle of nowhere. “What kind are you looking for?” He asks me, heading towards a table that had a burning candle atop it. “A sword or dagger alike” I respond, pretending to be interested in pile of guisarme clustered on a table next to me.

It was filled with copper, silver and gold royals, all to help supply them while they sought out allies. After Boro said his farewell and accepted the money, he quickly made himself busy checking out the two pack horses. He wanted to give Littume and Lord Jetir space for there farewells. He saw Jetir give his son a firm hug and share a few words with him. Then he saw Lord Jetir unwrap the cloth and from it pulled out an ornate brown and gold scabbard. The scabbard was too thick to belong to a rapier, and too wide to be a katan, the long slightly curved, single edge style sword that Boro himself used. This one was as wide as the width of his palm and had two edges to it. A broadblade, an olde

The Rise of the Alpha Luna

The Rise of the Alpha Luna

I look to Lance who is mind-linking before her presence is felt before she has even entered the marquee. She enters at the back, for a grander entrance. Lorrel likes smoke and lights, she was an artist. In her hands was a large silver sword with the royal emblem of a crown on top of an S, the same as my mark. She walks through the alphas and lunas earning gasps from the powerful aura she was emitting out. She places the sword on the table in front of us, before walking and standing next to me. On closer inspection I could see the sword was most likely silver. As well as the royal emblem, it had a large black jewel surrounded by small red ruby gems.

Another amazing book!! I loved this 2nd part as well. It was fascinating to see how Aida improved so much in her self-esteem and love, to become even more powerful than what she always was. To me, she was never boring or “too much”. And luckily, she didn’t became much “stronger” or “much more…

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

He would destroy anyone and everyone who laid a hand on her. I rushed back into the sanctuary, with no time to waste. Walking into the artifact room and grabbing the pair of cutlass swords, I had always admired, hanging up on the wall. Both are trimmed with gold, and both are etched with the lunar phases on one side of the blade. The only difference – is their handles. One woven in white the other black. The supposed twin swords of Skoll and Hati. The sons of Fenrir. The balance in both blades was perfect, as I tested them out, rotating my wrist and twirling the blades. The sun catching the finely sharpened edges.

Yes, an excellent read, full of intrigue and drama, love and torment. All four of this series have been worth waiting for. Just one complaint: where are the next two books on Goodbooks? Do I need to look elsewhere? I hate leaving a story mid way, and need to know how it all finishes.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

One of the bandits' lackeys was amazed by the appearance of Engram’s rune sword. “What an expansive looking sword that you got there, laddie, do you mind if I take a look?” Engram’s long sword was indeed looking expansive. It was crafted from a black rune crystal with a sublime silver handle. “Why don't you come closer, so you can see it clearer.” Engram provoked while was sneering. Jeremiah felt the bloodlust atmosphere around Engram. He was now confused about how the difference the prince demeanor had changed from the first time they've met.

He should take this slow and steady. “Let’s see those weapons you were talking about.” Salj stared at the door where Yuki just left through for a few seconds. Then he sighed and went to the closet. He took out several things, a claymore, a bow, a sword, and a staff which he gently placed on the table. The weapons were all completely black with wooden texture and appearance, except for the handles and guards. The weapons all had a series of exactly 10 runic writings engraved on them.

he said, offering the bundle to the large being. With a low grunt, the Minotaur sheathed his own large blade and took the bundle in his own massive hands. Still eyeing Andric suspiciously, he slowly unwrapped it. The blade glinted in the firelight as it was uncovered, and the Minotaur took great interest in it. He lifted it by the hilt and held it up to examine it. There were deep grumbles from the others. “By the bones of Taural,” the Captain muttered, “can it be?” He turned it in the light, looking closely at every detail. There were runes engraved on the blade that were distinctly those of the Shujaar, as well as an inlaid gold silhouette in the shape of a bull’s head on the hilt. The Min

Alister asked and stood up, he drew his sword and placed it next to the other sword on the table "Read its name..." Danté squinted at its Celtic encryption "Dragonsbane" "Does that name ring a bell to you?" "No?" "They are the swords of our forefathers, this belonged to Sir Lancelot, a knight of the round table" Danté chuckled "A Knight of Arthur? Did you steal this then?" "Did you steal yours?" "It was handed to me by the cross!"

Then he grabbed a belt another soldier was holding and unsheathed a longsword. Scarlett had never seen one close up, but she knew its name. Most of the women in Karai used smaller swords, poleaxes, axes, or lances. But a sword was just a piece of metal. The wielder had to know how to use it in order for it to be effective. “And what is your name, Mr.?” “Humbert,” he said, giving a small bow. “Fire… or magic tricks of any sort aren’t allowed.” “I won’t need any magic,” said Scarlett, smiling.
