He sized me up from head to toe before he took the spot next to me, he quietly stared down at the space beneath us on the ground.
"I can see what you're trying to do," he started. A deep frown settled on my forehead as I looked at him.
"I'm sorry, I don't understand." I softly uttered in confusion.
"You need to stop, Hera. This isn't a game, people are getting hurt." He started before turning to face me.
"I'm not playing games, Rafe," I argued but he stopped me before I could continue.
"I know you, Hera. You run away whenever things get tough. And if you could do it in the past you'll do it again. So stop before it's too late," he calmly expressed.
