BLACK TIGER
He frowns, “Did he say something to you?”
I shake my head, “No.” I cringe because my voice came out like a squeal.
He pouts and takes me in his arms. This simple contact makes me lose control of my tears once again. I rest my head on his chest and sob unstoppably, hands clutching his suit jacket. I hear him sigh as he holds me, rocking me slowly. I hear footsteps, open my eyes and see the Black Tiger leaving. My vision is blurred with tears, but I follow him with my stare until he completely disappears.
