Destiny

Destiny

Please don't be dead please don't be dead just keeps running though my mind. When all of a sudden there is a dust cloud from the wall Asher has just smashed through as he runs towards the creature that just hit him. Releaf floods through me. "OK ladies our turn. Concentrate on creating a fire storm, build up the heat as much as we can and burn these bastards." They all nod in agreement. "Water witches, wrap water around the vines to stop the fire from breaking them and releasing the beasts." They all prepare themselves. "NOW" I shout

REBIRTH: My Forbidden Entanglement

REBIRTH: My Forbidden Entanglement

The water barrier stood strong anyway, and Sunitra’s eyes opened, latching onto me with a mix of disappointment and expectation. “You were supposed to hold it in?” “It’s not that easy. You're a water fae, and I'm weilding fire. The heat radiating from it is unbearable.” “Water comes with ice, so yes, I know how unbearable it is. But if you don't learn to become accustomed to it, you'll end up putting everyone in danger. Fire is wild, it cannot be tamed; it's impossible, and that's why you need to learn how to control it and not explode every single time someone attacks you.”

The First Chosen Alpha (Prequel)

The First Chosen Alpha (Prequel)

So I seek out more bottles as the entire village sleeps, after a night of drinking and gambling as usual. This water is blue and they use it to burn fire. So I pour it over as many tents as I can, and then take two rocks in my hand. Just like my mother taught me to, I hit them together to create a spark and throw them on the water and it catches fire. Suddenly, a wind blows through the desert, a strong wind. Good. A storm is coming. And as I watch, the fire spreads like a red and gold river, slowly engulfing the tents one by one.

Father's Bestfriends: All Yours, Alpha Daddies

Father's Bestfriends: All Yours, Alpha Daddies

"Agreed. Get them moving. Now." Around us, the guards were rolling out with tanks and buckets filled with the water of life. It was our emergency reserve, a special water that we only used in the direst situations. It had properties unlike any other water—when poured on fire, it spread rapidly, extinguishing flames with terrifying efficiency. A single bucket could put out a fire spanning at least five miles.

Lavender Girl

Lavender Girl

*Arrr! But before the commentator could finish speaking, the flames had spread to Gabrielle's unprotected hands and face. She screamed in agony as she writhed on the ground, attempting to extinguish the relentless flames that continued to sear her skin. The stadium staff quickly ordered the activation of a special emergency fire extinguisher system. Water began to flow from the arena ceiling like a waterfall, dousing the fire that had raged on Gabrielle's body for a full minute before finally extinguishing it. The entire stadium was in a state of panic, and even the commentator was taken aback by the power of Angus's Sika. This technique was said to be one of the legendary techniques passed

The Legendary Luna ( Luna With No wolf)

The Legendary Luna ( Luna With No wolf)

"I don’t care about the price. I want this fire gone now." Within minutes, a team of our elemental allies arrived. They are wolves gifted with the ability to manipulate water. They moved quickly, summoning waves from the nearby river, their hands twisting as they directed the flow toward the flames. The fire fought back, roaring higher as if alive, resisting their efforts. It wasn’t normal. Something or someone had fueled it. "Pour everything into it!" I commanded, stepping closer to the inferno. The heat was unbearable, but I refused to back down. "Drown it!"

Fighting Alphas: Catching Fire

Fighting Alphas: Catching Fire

Making us vanish into nothingness. I need to react fast. This is bad, really bad. If she can catch on fire, she can do some real damage to my members. "Return to the pack ground, now," I commanded by the mental bond, and some of them were hesitant, but they obeyed. A few moments later, we ended up alone: the little red wolf, me, and the only woman I would take a silver bullet for. But Bardo, the Water Wizard, stood close by, ready to extinguish the fire.

Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

"Can your fox-fire construct a wall big enough to fool a horde that size?" "It won't just fool them, Your Majesty," Vixen said, a sharp, predatory smile showing her sharp fangs. "It's going to piss them off. Fox-fire corps, ignite the perimeter! Drive them into the bottleneck!" At her command, fifty silver-haired fox-fire mages stationed along the lower battlements raised their hands in unison. Long streams of blinding, spirit-burning flame shot into the air, crisscrossing over the open valley floor. The fire didn't just burn; it twisted space, bending the light until a massive, towering illusory mountain range seemed to snap into existence across the southern flank, blocking the wraiths' vi

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

The Pack's Vampire

The Pack's Vampire

“It will take very little to ignite it. Cut the cloth whilst it is wet into small pieces capable of being held in the claws of a sparrow. Not too small, however as it needs to hold the flame long enough to ignite the thatch. Lay the strips onto the branches so that the sparrows can lift them easily. Do you understand? If the cloth ignites whilst you are holding it, throw it immediately into the water barrels. And wash your hands frequently – if the liquid dries on you, it will ignite and burn you.” Blood slaves and vampires began to bring water to fill the barrels, carrying it from the spring within the forest, a slow and laborious process that took most of the morning to complete. Firefly
I didn't realize just how alluring an ancient vampire could really be until I dove into Talen's past and had my heart broken and stolen by the depth of soul in this character. Everleigh has such a gift for creating these characters with so many layers you can't believe they're not real.
