At a cafe, I found Sally sitting with a woman I recognized as her friend, was it Jane, I couldn't remember since it was a while since I read the file on Sally's background "Over here" she waved when she saw me, I let out a smile as I joined the ladies "Hey" I said taking a sit "Hello, this is my best friend Jane, Jane, this is Lucas" I was indeed right about the name "Nice to meet you" I acknowledged her with a nod "I hope I didn't bother you" Sally asked looking guilty "Of course not, am never to busy for you, all you need to do is make one call and I will come running" I assured her making both of them laugh with Jane making a jealous expression

But she didn’t seem convinced, she stared at me for a long, uncomfortable moment, her face a mix of disbelief, concern, and something like fear. “You’re… in your twenties?” she asked again, her voice barely above a whisper. That’s when I felt it…a strange coldness ran down my spine like something inside me shifted. Instinctively, I turned to the small glass panel at the corner of the shop, expecting to see my face looking tired and sick. But it wasn’t my face. I saw it clearly my reflection, but not mine. Staring back at me was the old lady’s Mrs. Choice face. Wrinkled. Aged. Completely not me.

Those eyes reminded her of everything brown — the coffee. Crinkles usually formed underneath and beside his eyes whenever he cackled. Those crinkles got her thinking if he was older than he looked, because, asides the crinkles, his porcelain skin always shone with youthfulness and vibrance, the kind of vibrance that radiated from a healthy teenager. " ... want some berries?" Dr Jake offered her a bowl of red berries. Rosaleen gave a soft, close-tipped smile which the young man couldn't discern if it was an approval.

Rhea's Pov Sally let out a sharp scoff, she looked like a woman who still believed she held the strings. She straightened her spine, pulling herself up from Beatrice’s side. "Ending?" Sally repeated, her voice dripping with a venomous mockery. She brushed a stray, silver-blond hair from her face, her eyes narrowing into slits of pure malice. "You truly are a naive little girl, Rhea. Do you think a video and some digital numbers on a screen are enough to bring down the Taylors? Do you think the foundations I’ve built over decades can be toppled over by a commoner like you?” Sally laughed again, her eyes rolling.

Alpha Brentwood turned around to see Sally standing, waiting for him. His eyes rose from her white-painted toes, moving upwards slowly along her thin legs to her lady part, her tiny waist, and her flat stomach. His dark eyes paused for a few seconds at her breast, noticing its tiny, pink nipples and its pear shape. Sally felt as if she couldn't breathe under the intensity of his powerful stare. It felt like he was touching her. As the Alpha's eyes finally meet Sally's green eyes, he flashes over towards her with inhuman speed and grabs her by the back of her neck.

No way! Are you kidding? My mind screamed. "I, uh, sure?" The room was emptying out around us, though Sally was lingering. Charles was grinning at me. "You don't have to say anything. Just look serious and formidable." "That may be a stretch," Sally said, coming over to us. "She's got a rare beautiful but sweet face." "Thank you," I said, looking down, feeling myself blush. "I think?" "Charles," Sally said. "Are you sure it's a good idea to put her face out there? Might it not put her in more danger?"

"Misunderstanding? How ridiculous! Do you think I’m stupid? I should have caught you in bed with him. Only then would you have admitted, right? B*tch!" Sally sneered. "You're even flirting with each other in public. How could you tell me that I’m misunderstanding you after seeing that? Anyone who has eyes can clearly see that neither of you is innocent, and here you're, busy eating cake?" Sally’s eyes darted towards the cake on the table. "I'll let you eat it then!" As soon as she finished her words, she picked up the cake and smashed it on Crista's face. All the cream got stuck on Crista's face, making her embarrassed in front of everyone.

I looked towards the fitting room, hoping Nora would come out and save me. I felt someone looking at me and when I looked up, I saw it was the black-haired woman. She walked up to me with a frown on her face. “Hey, do I know you?” She asked with a confused look. “Um, no, I don't think so.” I smiled. “You look like someone I once knew. Anyway, my name is Sally,” she introduced herself. The name Sally sounded familiar, like I had heard that name before. “April, nice to meet you.” I replied, returning her smile.

“Her name might be fake. I have to find out about her past. Her mannerisms might give us some clue on her identity.” Eva nodded at Nathan’s words. That crazy look on Sally’s face and the cold look in her eyes appeared in Eva’s mind. She inhaled softly before saying with self-mockery, “Her name may be fake, but her hatred for me is real. She couldn't wait to see me dead, but I have no idea what I've done to her.” “What did she say to you?” Eva thought about this and told Nathan everything she remembered. When he found out that Sally talked about cutting Eva’s face every day, the look on Nathan’s face turned darker.
