Of Pillows and Pampering

Of Pillows and Pampering

“Madam, aren’t you going to Europe to take a break? Why…” Why are you bringing your textbooks along with you? Do you need to do homework? Sally smiled sheepishly. “My finals are coming soon… I need to start preparing for them…” Aunt Leigh sighed as she secretly took the books out. “Madam, you’re so hardworking…” Sally lowered her head to look at her phone and nodded. Evonne had sent her an entire checklist. “I want postcards from Europe!” “I want designer clothing from France!” “Makeup from England!”

I fell in love with this book the moment I started, however, I feel like its starting to drift apart from its main characters and story, still very romantic but I hope the author doesn’t drag it too much! High respect to the author still!

Slaughter Hill a Paranormal Romance

Slaughter Hill a Paranormal Romance

Lillie Damon stared out the window of her cabin. The lightning in the midnight sky illuminated the forest on Slaughter Hill. Wind hissed through the forests. Thunder rang with a loud explosion that echoed for miles. She was determined it was a suitable midnight to cast a spell upon her suitor Paul. She went into the shower. Lying down on the counter was a comb that Paul used to comb his hair. Lillie picked up the hair from his comb. Lillie stepped onto the back deck and cleaned the soil off the underside of his loafers. She continued into the backyard and ignited a picture of him and picked up the ashes. She was squatting on the floor with torches all around her. The gleam of the torches pro

she exclaimed. “If I'll never guess then there is no point in me guessing is there?” I sighed and placed my laptop bag down at the side. “I had a visit from mother earlier and she wanted to know if we were interested in going to the Thorns charity event next Saturday!” The Thorns are well known for their status and money. 20 years ago, Richard and Lesley Thorn invested in setting up a local apple orchard and cidery and opened Thorn cider. Before long they had expanded across the country. Their brand quickly hit shelves across all supermarkets and stores in the UK. Although their wealth has grown, the family stayed local and chose to run the local site as opposed to moving away. Their childre

Moonlit Desires

Moonlit Desires

Dust clung to everything, and the dim lighting made it feel more like a tomb than a library. I found a small table in the corner and set my bag down, then started browsing through the shelves. It didn’t take long to realize that most of the books were about standard small-town fare—local history, genealogy, that sort of thing. But buried between the boring volumes on family trees and tax records, I found something a little more interesting. Legends of Blackthorn Ridge. The book was old, its spine cracked and its pages yellowed with age. The title alone made my pulse quicken with anticipation. I pulled it from the shelf and sat down at the table, flipping it open.

The Wrong Woman

The Wrong Woman

She leaned down to check on the wounds on her knees, then straightened and continued forward slowly. She looked so frail and helpless as she walked away. The morning sun cast warmth everywhere but her heart. Sally held a hand to her swollen face as she cried pitifully. "I'm not a homewrecker. I didn't ruin your marriage. Why did she hit me? Why?" As she spoke, she went back into the house forlornly. Nathan followed her in. He watched thoughtfully as she cleaned up the books on the ground. It didn't slip his notice that Sally had replaced the books back onto the shelves in complete disorder. The Sally from his childhood was incredibly particular about the arrangement of her books.

The story between Chubs and Nate got pretty dragging but I can't complaint, since I did end up loving this novel more than I thought I would. Halfway through 1088 chapters, things got more interesting and the ending was pretty good. Thanks for making the stories worth reading.

I really like the book, i've been stuck on it since i've found it .. it's just that the chapters are too short, it's basically a money grab... irritating that you can't read for at least 2-5 mins without having to pay for a new chapter.

Betrayed By The Billionaire

Sarah looked at the photo of her younger self with her late mother, the only ghost in this house she still truly loved. The pieces are falling into place. And when Julian Thorne walks through those doors, will he see the broken housewife Sarah was, or the Alpha Queen she is becoming?

THE KING'S HEALER

So, we just have to find the solution ourselves". "Fine!" Sally rolled her eyes and focused on the book she had with her, while Martha turned back to the shelf. She took out the books shd wanted and went ahead to take a seat and for a long time, the place was silent as the two ladies focused on their books. "Hold on, I think I've found something" Sally suddenly said and Martha's eyes beamed. "What? What is it?" She stood up and ran to her immediately, looking into the book.

This is a decent book. Some parts repeat, sometimes names get mixed up. The thing that got me was you have this whole love story only to have the last 4 paragraphs wrap everything up all nice and neat. The thing I do admire is the friendship between Rosaline and Martha, it's lasting and beautiful.

Claimed by the Horde

Claimed by the Horde

“What happens to the books at the other apartment?” “Thorne will make sure they go back to the library.” She looked up. “Library? They have those books at the library?” “No.” Noah stubbed out the cigarette and came back inside. He pulled out his phone and sat opposite her. “The Horde has a library.” “Of course, they do.” Serenity’s gaze shifted back to the book, and she started to read again, silence falling between her and the demon opposite. She wasn’t running anymore, and she smiled at the idea. There was still so much she had to learn if she wanted to stay safe and while she should have probably been an absolute mess mentally, with the ideas of demons and angels—something felt right.
