Savage Castle Chapter 1 Novels & Stories

His shirt was unbuttoned with two buttons, revealing his broad, slightly hairy chest. His shirt sleeves were half rolled up and he was wearing shorts. Does he want to go on holiday? My mouth dropped open when my eyes fell on the window that looked out on the vast water and didn't tell me that we were now on a cruise ship. "Where are we?" "Ocean." "Why?" "Just having fun, let's go out." He grabbed my hand and walked out of the room, my body just followed where he took me and I heard the sound of women screaming and men joking around.

"Absolutely not. You're banned from the stove." "That seems fair." We ate cereal instead, standing at the counter that still smelled faintly of sex and smoke. And somewhere out there, Trevor was running, nursing his wounded pride, planning his next move. But that was a problem for later. For now, I had Fao. I had my cabin. I had a boarded-up door and a mate who would burn the world down for me — sometimes literally. It wasn't a fairy tale. But it was mine. And I wouldn't trade it for anything.

He frowned, but his eyes were filled with mischief and amusement. “Well, you know what the pack did, so I won’t bore you with those details. Then I was a rogue and I lived on my own.” I frowned, not sure if I was explaining myself well enough. “Now, I’m in this incredible castle with you.” I got up and waved my arms through the air while trying to take a deep breath. It felt as if someone had sucked all the air out of the room, and I was struggling to breathe.

“We can make it.” The smell of smoke wafted to our noses and started to engulf us. The sounds of heavy breathing were almost missed before a large gray wolf with matted fur and a scarred-up snout came charging at us, a rogue. Behind him, a large molasses wolf with a white underbelly trailed furiously, Matt. I shoved Harriet out of the way just in time as I took the brunt of the gray wolf’s charge. I was smacked into a tree and a gasp escaped my lips. I tasted metallic blood in my mouth as I tried to catch my breath. Matt’s eyes were raging black pearls as he tackled the rogue. Matt furiously tried to snap at his opponent’s neck. The rogue was able to shove Matt off of him. The two started ci

I paused when my fingers landed on the book I had been previously reading, the one the King had told me specifically to stay away from. Without much thought, I grabbed the book and turned to the chapter I had last stopped on, it was called soulmates to the beast. I read for what felt like hours about what the villagers thought about the beast and I found myself growing more and more afraid, the more and more I read. He had wiped out villages all around the castle in a rampage of anger, he killed thousands of people and left their bodies in the street and only stopped once the sun began to rise again and the sky became painted as red as the blood on his body.

Savannah POV As we headed back to Jax's castle we spotted a wandering wolf. Jax slowly approached it and asked what it was doing out here, we can’t be too careful right now. I stayed back in the shadow of the tree, at the ready if I needed to. He called out to me to come over. I recognised the wolf as one of my Fathers staff members. She was out here enjoying the morning sun getting materials needed to rebuild the castle. Morning already, wow, we were up there for so long. I giggled inwardly remembering everything that just happened. It seems my father had evacuated the entire kingdom of his to here and they were all working to build houses and markets. I think I am going to like it here.

At night, they would sneak unto their neighbors and steal their food; and at light, they would kill the man who gets the most ration from their hard work in the Upper Castles. My mother would say, that the plague was sent by Mother Nature, that people became too happy and took things for granted, so She gave them a lesson— one too ruthless and too dark that even history cannot forget if it wanted to. Maybe She thought it would make the Old World a little bit kinder and a little bit better. But She was wrong. For the new one is even crueler now. My name is Elizabeth Hale. Welcome to the New World.

Watching. His eyes didn’t blink. Didn’t waver. I was naked. Wet. Flushed. Fingers still between my thighs. He stepped forward. And I couldn’t breathe. --- End of Chapter One

I have been running in circles, not knowing where I was going, raising my head, as I force myself to stand on my feet. Raising my head, all I could see is, a castle a beautiful castle, a glass castle that was when I realized where I am, I am in Wildfang Shadow Pack, and I am climbing up to the castle almost at the outskirts of the pack, far from every member of this wolves living in this pack.
