Saving Nora Pdf Free Novels & Stories

“They want a reclaiming. They’re not attacking the Council nor humans; they’re coming for me.” “Why?” I looked at the last blinking light on the screen. Because I wasn’t the last Echo. Because I was the one who lived. And Subject One wasn’t trying to kill me. He was trying to correct me. That night, I sat alone in the medbay, staring at the old file I’d pulled from Malek’s restricted archives. Subject Eleven: NORA… my mother. Her name was Nora. The file was blurry and corrupted in places. But there were still fragments left—enough to make me wish I hadn’t looked.

"I know you have every right to tell me to leave now. You’re sitting in a jail cell because of the Jones family and wearing that orange suit because of a woman who thinks you’re nothing but a bug to be stepped on." I looked at her. "Did Elizabeth send you here to gloat?" I interrupted. My voice was shaky, but I forced myself to look her in the eye. I wouldn't let her see me cry. Not her, not here, and not now. "Because if she did, you can tell her I’m not giving up and I’m not signing your papers, neither am I going away." Nora looked at me steadily and didn't cringe. Instead, she reached into her small, expensive leather purse and slowly, she pulled out a tiny silver flash drive.

She sat on the bed, feeling a little lonely now that they were gone. She took a deep breath and tried to relax, telling herself that everything would be okay. But she couldn't help but feel a little worried about Aiden. Nora's mind flashed to the financial records. She stood up from her bed and walked to her drawer, as she began to search for the extra copies she had made from the snapshots. They were gone, and Nora was so sure she had placed them in the drawer. She decided still, to check other places and after scattering her room for close to two hours, she still found nothing.

“Well then this is what we need to do. '' Nora said back to her walking over to the desk. “What are you doing?” Zara asked her, annoyed. “Shouldn't we trust our mate though? “ Zara added. “I am leaving a note. Did you not see the vision? Do you want to end up like that?” Nora asked, clenching her fist. “No. It was dark and cold where I was…like before.” Zara whimpered. “Fine, then we go to Lance. We save everyone.” Nora confirmed and began writing on the paper. Dear Jace,

Inside a small building, Nora Ariana sat laughing to herself, staring at the documents in her hand. “Just a little more,” Nora muttered. “Just a little more and Castillo will be mine again.” The door opened. “Laughing by yourself, Aunt?” Reno’s voice sounded clear. Nora turned quickly. Her expression changed instantly. “You,” she said softly, then laughed loudly. “Damn brat. You really are a nuisance.” Reno stepped inside. “Your game is over.” Nora stood up. “You think you’ve won just because you caught Kevin?” Reno took documents from his suit pocket and threw them onto the table. “These.”

She stopped in front of me, narrowing the distance between us to a minimum. “I know Warren better than any of those women who just left. I know the secrets, the numbered accounts, and the names of the people he silenced.” Nora reached out, holding a small brown envelope I hadn’t noticed before. “I will help you destroy Warren before he ever walks you to that altar. But I need to know if you have the stomach for what is about to happen.”

“And you know what, she still cares enough about what you think to dig through the dark web and find evidence to prove she’s innocent. I told her to just run—” I take Nora’s face between my fingers, stopping her. “What evidence? What did she find?” Nora sighs and jerks her face away to bend down and grab her bag. “It’s all in here. My laptop and the puzzle codes to get into the dark web.” I take the bag from her and unzip it. “She said there’s enough evidence to clear her name in the computer, and that she even found out where they’re hosting their next auction of wolf souls,” Nora tells me, and I pull out the notebook.

Suddenly, the door opened and Darkie stepped in once again. He walked to Nora's back and untied her. “Sorry for the way we abducted you,” he said. Nora was beyond surprised. How come this guy was letting her go after everything? Was this some type of interview? Nora was free at last, and her instincts were starting to scream at her once again to punch Darkie in the face. Then he handed a paper to her. “Here. This is a cheque of one hundred thousand dollars, for your co-operation and good deeds.“

Chapter Ten Run Nora’s hand hit the back door, her other hand gripping Mallory’s tightly. She peeked out before rushing out. If she could get to the woods she could get Mallory and herself out. Her plan was to escape and come back with troops. “Luna.” Matt’s voice chimed in her head as she crept towards the woods trying to keep her position lower, hoping the darkness will cover them. “Matt. Jace he’s surrendered. They have Jessica and Hannah.” Nora said his eyes locked on the heavily treed area in front of her.

He added as he noticed my confused reaction. “Come with me,” He demanded. I followed him out of the Packhouse to the graveyard where dead alphas were buried. What I saw made my eyes glitter with joy. “She deserves to be here,” He commented as I broke into tears. “I had some men move her corpse here this morning. She deserves to be among the alphas, for she gave birth to an exquisite soul.” He added. The tombstone read “Here lies Sara Clinton, a wife, and a mother ”. Seeing my mother's grave made all the good memories of her flood my thoughts.
