He was going to touch her but she flinched away from his touch in a flash, making his heart clench. "No.. no.. I am sorry.. please.. no.. don't hurt me.. I am sorry…" She mumbled while trying her best to not cry in front of him. She was scared of getting more hurt. Her heart was beating loudly and her body was shaking violently. She was having trouble in breath but still trying her best to stay silent and in sense.

Fea whimpered, her voice not quite a sob but tinged with sheer terror. Her heart skipped a beat and then it began to pound ferociously against her chest. Her eyes darted around in panic. “It's Ashton. He can't see you like this!”

When she finished, I whispered, “You are not scared, are you?” She looked at me then. Really looked. “I am beyond terrified, Joha.” “But you act so calmly.” “I have to.” She leaned her head against mine. “I am scared for you and mama and papa and our pack. And I know you guys are scared for me.. So.. I tried my best not to show my fear. I yelled as I made my way to the door. I opened the door there he was looking all frightened at my little yell. "What do you want!" I barked at him and he shivered in fear, this was what I was complaining about I didn't even raise my hand at him and he was this scared. "Why are you shivering now? I did not even touch you can't you stop being a scaredy cat for once," I said pissed at his feeble character. "I'm sorry mummy for disturbing you, i-m r-e-a-l-l-y s-or-r-y," he stuttered, shaking terribly from fear.

I said, feigning innocence. I glanced around after speaking. It was true. There wasn't a single living person in sight, but ghosts were everywhere. "This place is cursed!" Charlotte snapped. "I can't even stop. The moment I even think about it, it feels like needles are piercing my hands." Even as she spoke, her hands kept moving. Fear flickered across her face at the scene before her. “It's me! It's safe!” Jazz froze mid-shift and turned to face me, her eyes wide with fear and confusion. Her tail swished nervously behind her, a clear sign of her underlying anxiety.
