"Don't listen to the hum. Just listen to the heartbeat next to you." They slipped into the shadows of the North Leg of the Arch, the silver structure vibrating beneath their hands. The "Sonic Labyrinth" opened its mouth to swallow them, but for the first time, the pack wasn't afraid of the dark. They were the ones bringing the light that was going to burn the Hive to the ground.

Riska shouted at the Master AI. The Master AI blinked, and suddenly a powerful, low-frequency sound wave swept through the tunnel, heading straight for Kevin. VVVVWWWOOOOMMMMMM! Kevin staggered, his hands reflexively covering his ears. His 'Level 3 Synthetic Buff' gave him physical strength, but it did not make him immune to sonic attacks. "Argh! What is this?!" Kevin roared, his protein pistol wavering. "That's a modified version of the 'Sugar Disintegration Sonic Wave,' Kevin!" Riska shouted, her voice firm.

Fear I feel fucking fear. "I'm good",I keep watching. "he watching to make sure she dies",Gemma pipes up. I let out a vicious growl and she jerks. "watch your tone!",Scar growls and her eyes go wide with fear. "son",dad moves to me. "Scar calm down ",uncle Duke says softly. "back off",Scar growls again as my eyes flash golden.

“You smell… nice.” I’m scared.

The frightening soundwave shook Sir Osborn, Paxton, and the other regular Osborn family members into bleeding out of their orifices and falling to the ground. Swenson looked shocked. “Is that Sydartha Society’s Titanium Leo-roar?” Hank Veal’s signature skill? Kayson knew it as well?! Judging by how he had executed it, he was close to completing the practice, and even grandmasters could not possibly overlook the effect of the soundwave. “Hah!” Valdis shouted, dispelling Kayson’s soundwave with wrathful eyes that looked like they could spit fire. “Kid, you’re provoking me!”

Before I could respond— A deafening roar echoed through the tunnels. Everything stopped. Every silver-eyed person froze. Every face turned toward the sound. Fear spread instantly. Real fear. Not panic. Not surprise. Fear. The kind that comes from knowing exactly what’s coming. Ethan cursed under his breath. Omega’s massive body stiffened. Even Damien’s expression darkened. The roar came again. Closer. Much closer. And this time— I recognized it. Not from memory. From instinct. Something buried deep inside me recognized that sound. And hated it.

Her chest heaved as she panted, her gaze locked onto mine. Jayleen turned towards her, his eyes softening at her evident fear. His lycan-red eyes reverted back to their natural brown, concern etched across his face. "Skye, what are you doing here?" he asked, his voice barely audible in the silent night. But Skye's attention was fixated on me. Her fear was palpable, and it brought a twisted sense of pleasure to me. I reveled in the sight of her fear, in the power I held over her.

If we cross that threshold, it’ll hit with the force of a physical blow—nausea, disorientation, total loss of balance. I could push her back. Pull her out of range. But I don't. "There's a sonic trap ahead," I say, my voice low. "We need to move through it fast. Cover your ears. Keep your eyes on me." She nods. No argument. Just trust. I move first, stepping into the threshold. The sound hits me instantly—a brutal pressure behind my eyes that makes the walls sway. My head pounds, vision blurring at the edges. But I keep moving. Five steps. Ten. Fighting the urge to vomit.

I said, feigning innocence. I glanced around after speaking. It was true. There wasn't a single living person in sight, but ghosts were everywhere. "This place is cursed!" Charlotte snapped. "I can't even stop. The moment I even think about it, it feels like needles are piercing my hands." Even as she spoke, her hands kept moving. Fear flickered across her face at the scene before her. The terror in her eyes was truly a rare sight to behold. "Is this your doing? Did you come up with all these tricks to scare me? You just want revenge for all the times I picked on you at school, don't you?"

He grinned at Eiden. Eiden was frozen on the spot. Her body trembled with fear. Sweat began to pour out. His heart felt like it was being slammed. Tears began to fall from her eyes. The music player played on its own. Eiden turned his head to the music player and when he looked forward again, the evil had disappeared. Eiden breathed a sigh of relief, but he was wrong. He was still there! The door locked by itself and the flashlight on the smartphone suddenly turned off. Eiden was startled and before he could react, a pair of hands pulled his legs and made him fall.
