Epilogue 【Darren’s POV】 The bullet tore through my chest. Blood poured from the wound, staining the floor red. I collapsed onto the cold concrete, my consciousness fading. But in a strange way, I felt a moment of perfect clarity. All the fog had lifted. I finally saw the truth. Scarlett had never betrayed me. The letters, the photos, they were all Angelina's tricks. And I was the biggest fool in the world. I remembered Scarlett when she was pregnant.

Her thoughts returned to what she had heard, so she tightened her grip on the brake and steering wheel. Scarlett arrived in the nearby area of Ferdinand’s quarters, and she pulled over near the quarters and took her belongings. She took a deep breath before proceeding to the quarters, but she stopped when she noticed many staff members guarding the massive gate, so she hid on the side. Scarlett took the bomb, opened it, and threw it at Ferdinand’s men, causing a loud explosion that left Ferdinand’s men in chaos. She threw another bomb to create a large amount of smoke, then ran and prepared her weapons.

Scarlet couldn't move her eyes from the book, the book seemed to have sorcery power, inciting her to get it. It should be okay to see, isn't that so? Because this book is somewhat special, scarlet hesitated for some time. After she struggled, she chomped her lip and got the book. She was going to open it. "what's going on with you?" As soon as scarlet opened the first page, she was startled by the sound from the entryway. "what!" She screamed and the book in her grasp tumbled to the ground. Jared's eyes followed the falling book, and he suddenly became nervous, his face hardened.

The priestess urged and she strained again. The mirror flashed and Scarlett's image came into view. The mirror showed her how much pain Scarlett was suffering from and how the obstinate lady was trying to hide it from Xavier. It also showed when Scarlett coughed blood and also when she passed out. Scarlet didn't understand what he said, she immediately stood and apologized. "Why are you apologizing scarlet? " "Because it was not intentional" "I doubt, why are you still here, you are wasting your time" "But... "She became speechless and left. Scarlet went back home took her bath, dressed up, and followed Kesley to school for their graduation. "So tell me, Scarlet, where did you go to this early morning" "I went for a walk and tell me, what happened last night, I don't remember anything" Kesley kept quiet for a moment and told her all that happened last night.

Never was.” I trembled at his words and clutched Pip tighter, his fur wet from my sudden tears.
