Jessica led me to a small cabin just outside the territory, I knew that Brody would go crazy if he knew that not only was I helping someone from our rival pack but that I was leaving our territory. The cabin looked deserted from outside, I assumed it was abandoned before Jessica found it. She led me inside and I instantly smelt blood. The cabin was dark, with wooden walls and counter tops. I walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, I took my body lotion and began applying it on my body, I heard squeaky sound behind me, I turned but didn't see anything. I shrugged and turned to take the lotion when a white rat busted out of nowhere. I screamed running away from it, the little creature ran past my room and into the bathroom. 💭oh gosh how did a rat get into my room💭 I heard a squeaky sound again but this time it was coming from my closet. I took heavy steps to the closet. I took in a deep breath before opening it expecting the worst but instead Stacey fell out of the closet. She face planted the floor.

Most of them have been said to be possessed by evil witches and once you get in, you are cursed and you can’t get out again.”

I asked feeling a cold chill go down my spine. He didn't turn around or answer me. He just nodded as he walked into the cabin leaving the door open. I'd read many scary stories about dark cabins and psychopaths that brutally kills young unassuming girls just like me. Just bandage the bruise and get the fuck out of here, Ariel. Get the fuck out as fast as you can, I told myself. With that plan in mind, I walked into the cabin. He sat on a straightback chair looking ahead at nothing. It was a cold blank stare and his eyes were empty.

That old hag, as annoying as she was I'll admit her power is admirable. "I do not think it matters, the witches know about you, I am sure." I mumbled. A small and creepy cabin comes into my vision. Its wood looks rotten, dark with moss plastered onto it like paint. Its windows are dark with spiderwebs making its home. "This must be where Mericel and her little admirers are. Creepy little thing. Hope I do not catch a disease just by looking at it." I murmur. Cylester laughs on my shoulder nearly toppling over.

“And by hounds, you mean—?” “Not the kind you’re thinking.” His lips twitched in something that wasn’t quite a smile. “You’ll know if we see one.” I shivered, unsure if I wanted to find out. We reached a small cabin tucked deep into the forest, its silhouette barely visible against the night. It looked abandoned — the kind of place you’d pass by in a horror movie right before something terrible happened. Kael pushed the door open with his shoulder, the wood groaning under his strength.
