The pages were old and worn, their corners curling up from years of use. The illustrations within were both beautiful and terrifying, depicting hunters fighting against the creatures I had come to learn about; werewolves, vampires, and other beasts of the night. Seeing titles like 'Minerals and Gemstones' and 'Animals of the Sahara', I knew I was in the science section. I had to search three more sections: languages, music, and mathematics, before I finally found the section that housed the books on the supernatural. At first, all the books I see are about werewolves. Walking further down the row, the topics change from werewolves to vampires to witches. At the very end of the row, in a small section, nearly invisible unless you are looking for it, stand the books about lycans. I decide to start with trying to find what ingredients may have been used in the sedative Clay gave me.

She raised her hand and with her index finger she brushed the books, reading their titles. There were some that said "satanic pacts" others like "the call of the devil" "the forest and its hidden side" "small town legends" "werewolves and the full moon" and the last one said "Wisconsin Cases". Camila took out that last one, the book was big, it had a red cover with the image of the town itself. But that image was in black and white, as if it was taken years ago.

Whatever it was, I didn't care but of course, I knew there was something more. I opened the book flipped through the old pages and dread settled thick within my heart. This wasn't just some quack book you could buy on A****n or any local book store. This was the real deal and I could feel the presence of evil as I bent over to examine the pages. There was a section on human sacrifices and spells. There were so many different sections about occult practices that were unspeakable and gruesome.

I gulped down the lump in my throat, as I flipped the book page by page, checking out the images which getting scarier. After flipping like ten of the pages, I stopped abruptly as I sight something. 'History of vampires' was written boldly on one of the pages, and for some unknown reasons, I found myself getting curious about the previous images and the write-ups, and to clear my curiosity, I was forced to check the content of the book.
