Scary Numbers To Call 2024 Novels & Stories

This wasn’t just someone trying to scare her. Whoever was behind this… They were watching her closely. And they were dangerous. — Across the city. Inside the Hale mansion. Adrian stood in his study while Daniel waited beside the desk. “Sir, we traced the numbers that contacted Mrs. Hale.” Adrian looked up. “And?” “They’re all unregistered prepaid numbers.” Adrian’s expression darkened. “Disposable phones,” Daniel added. “Someone is being careful.” Adrian slowly leaned back in his chair. His mind immediately started connecting pieces.

He looked at the number, and it was unregistered in his contacts. 'Tsk, is this another scam or advertisement?' The person behind the call suddenly spoke when he was about to end the call, [We need to talk,] he immediately recognized the voice. He told his driver to drive to the Dalton University Hospital. *** "Let's get married," he was astounded. He almost drops the water he's holding while looking at the girl sitting on the bed with her casual sweater. "Are you nuts? Why the hell should I marry you? To think I came running just to hear this nonsense. Tsk, you're a waste of time. I'm leaving," he turned his back to her.

“You know your nose flare up a little when you lie.” “ No it doesn't.” He was about to say something else before a call came on my phone. I picked it up and saw another unknown number. Different from yesterday. I ignored the call and continued eating my apple. "You're not going to answer that?" “It’s nothing important. Just a random call.” “What call?” “Unknown number. Probably spam.” "Be careful not to get scammed." "Yeah. They called last night too." “You answered a spam call?” “I was half asleep.”

Different kinds of horrific scenarios were going on in my head, making me even more restless. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. Everything's fine!! Suddenly, my phone rang as my head snapped at the side. I picked it up and checked the caller ID. I frowned. It was a call from an unknown number. I declined the call and kept my phone aside, but after a second, it rang again, and it was the same unknown number. I picked it up and answered it, "It's a wrong num....--" I was cut off. "Don't you dare cut the call on me, lady." A voice which was dead scary said.

“Kay, Kay! Quick! Wait for Mama!” Seeing her son actively nod, Farrah smiled and praised him for being sensible. Returning to their bedroom, she took her phone out of the first compartment of the cabinet. She’s 100% sure that she was just hallucinating about the call—maybe it was the side-effect of the nightmare she had before seeing the phone call last night. Yet the moment she opened the screen, reality slapped her in the face. 1..3...4...10...20...100 calls, ranging from 12 AM to exactly 5 AM. All from the same number. All from her supposed to be dead husband.

Then he pulled out his cell and punched buttons before finally tossing the phone toward Kaden. “Program your numbers into her phone. I want her to have you on speed dial in case anything ever goes wrong.” Bethany’s eyebrows drew together as Kaden and then Trevor rapidly punched buttons before returning the phone to Jace. Then Jace handed her the phone. “I programmed my number in. It’s number one on speed dial. Kaden is number two and Trevor is number three. My office number is four and my apartment is number five. Carry this phone on you at all times, and if you don’t want me freaking out thinking you’re in an alley dead somewhere, then you better damn well answer when I call. Got it?”

“Beta Angus of the Nightstar Stalkers pack can be contacted at 4703 6608 6569. I don’t know what you are planning girl, but be careful.’ I smile as I copy the number and then press send. I am not surprised when he answers with a growl, “Who are you? And how did you get this number?” “Well, who I am doesn’t really matter for now and I got your number from a friend.” “This is a personal number. Don’t call me again.” “Wait, don’t hang up…” He seems to hesitate, and I was a little worried that he had already hung up until his rough voice comes back on the line and says, “Okay, what do you want?” “Well, it isn’t so much as what I want, it is what or who I can give you.”

My phone kept vibrating nonstop with notification sounds. Faith stood up and asked, "Messages from Rita?" I glanced at the contact name and nodded. The corners of her lips curved upward into a smile.

“Insults will get you nowhere. Now take this number down. I will only call it once. Better get a pen and paper ready.” I heard shuffling in the background, and Collin began to read out the number. “5555-6835-9020. Did you get it?” “Yes,” Enzo growled. “Put Tabitha back on the phone.” “No. Happy hunting, Enzo.” “Wait, let me speak…”

I stared at the screen…at the blank caller ID that somehow felt more threatening than any name could be. "I guess so. They called with an unknown number the last time and so, I guess they must be the ones calling. Besides, it's a few hours to the time they gave and so, I think they are the ones calling." My mouth felt dry and in turn, I licked my lips, trying to prepare myself for whatever they were about to say. What if they changed their mind? What if 50 billion wasn't enough anymore? What if they'd already hurt Hearty? What if this call was to tell me we were too late?
