A blood moon hovers in the night sky, an ominous sign that the manananggal is just lurking nearby. Legend says that when a moon like this appears in the sky, the bowels of the earth would open and release these menacing creatures from the deep. The manananggal according to mythology, is a half-bodied naked woman with the wings of a bat, razor-sharp teeth, and a 5-foot tongue that acts like suction to draw the blood out of the victim's body. The wing is so large that it spans at least 8 feet from tip to tip. To search for its prey, it hovers high above the night sky and through its keen sense of smell detects their blood.

It always happens in those cringe-worthy clichè movies where the girl would go in a dark alley and gets raped or worse, murdered! I shivered at the thought and decided to ignore that nagging feeling and instead continued walking. It was then, when a loud bang echoed inside the alley. Followed by a scream that sounded like a girl's. My heart skipped a beat when I heard the piercing scream. This was getting on my nerves now. But why am I scared? I'm a vampire and I'm stronger than a human, right? Therefore, I summoned all the courage I could and decided to take a look at what was going on in there.

He was grinning like a mad man but his eyes shoot daggers. As I do that, I finally got a proper look at what is really happening. Everything... is on fire. In a distance, I caught Matertera Matilda as she cracked one of the vampires' heads open, which gained a deafening scream of pain from the latter. She then throw it into the flames right after and caught my gaze. In her eyes reflects the burning flames in between us. I have never seen such eyes burning in so much determination. Matertera Matilda is burning, and the red fire was made just for her.

As she came a little bit closer to see it clearer, and then saw something horrible😱 that she nearly fainted. Mary let out a loud scream!!!! as saw a human man head on the street. Michael heard his girlfriend scream and ran out of the the party to only found her frozen in fear. Michael text💬 his friends and they all dash to only see Michael holding his girl in his hands.
