Scorpion Hawk Novels & Stories

And soon he saw the beast. *Scree* With another powerful screech the beast descended from above – a peak Noble it was. It was a large black hawk comparable to a small mountain, and it easily eclipsed every other creature here in terms of size. The god ignored the beast upon sensing its energy level. Well, he didn’t ignore it entirely. *Crackle* *Boom* *Scree*

Never mind the stories- no wonder everyone avoided this place. Something moved at the edge of the clearing as she brushed himself off and Scar froze. It was a patchy, long-legged spring hare that didn’t seem to have noticed him just yet, and with luck, it wouldn’t ever. She reached for an arrow as it sat placidly munching on a tuft of new grass. The second her fingertip touched his quiver the hare bolted for its burrow. Scar cursed, took a half step toward where it had been, and then stopped. There was no point, and the animal was well shot of him by now.

Feeling eyes on him his head snapped to the presence a little away from him and his eyes widened. A beautiful wolf stood there with sparkling copper eyes that had specs of violet in them. Her fur was the color of dusky caramel just like her skin but she had scars on the body of her wolf as well. Hunter couldn't pull his eyes away and then all of a sudden a zap of current ran down his spine and his hand shot up to his neck where the skin was protruding. She marked him!

So chameleons thrived in these type of regions? I was about to cuddle it when I saw its tail. It was curved in a scorpion's sting... jeez. I slapped my forehead, quickly retracting my steps. Not today, buddy. It was a freaking savage beast! A savage beast! A savage... wait a sec. Isn't my ability more influential and useful amongst savage beasts? They could understand me, as well as I could. That was my ability! I had to give it a try. “A poison-type chameleon, known as the Scorpion Tail Chameleon, famed for its high intellect and reasoning ability,” came the telepathic voice of MBI, “as long as it is not threatened.”

It's still moving a little bit. "Waaahhhhh!" Bryle screamed as the scorpion tried to hit him with its tail. Gradually, the scorpion stood up with a struggle, and Bryle clung to its small sturdy horn near its eyes. The scorpion squirmed to shake him off while also attacking, using its sharp tail and grasping pincer. Bryle gulps while avoiding the scorpion's tail and the pair of grasping pincers. He yelped when he was almost caught. The earth giant immediately grabbed the scorpion's tail and the pair of grasping pincers when it saw the scorpion attacking Bryle, which made Bryle sigh in relief. The scorpion was still squirming, but Bryle managed to climb on its head.

It usually lasts for about 10 seconds, something the wizards taught me. And at once, I pulled out the Scorpion mace and sliced through his chest, opening his rib cage and revealing his heart. *Scorpion mace*: An ancestral weapon, magically enchanted and originally belongs to the gods, the Scorpion mace can kill one hundred demons at once without even touching them. All it took was just a single swing of the weapon in the enemy's direction. And finally, with his chest laid bare, I reached for his heart with my hands and I pulled it out of his chest, and the lifeless body of Alexandra fell to the ground.

Caelus said excitedly. "But Arctic Hawk’s makeup skills are so good... How are we supposed to identify King Cobra?" Horace said, worried. "A man’s appearance can be changed, but not his aura," Caelus replied. "King Cobra is deeply involved in the weapons trade and is the boss of the Yoreal Continent. His brutality will set him apart from the other Agency staff." Horace clapped his hands. "That’s right. I’ll arrange for my men to keep an eye on this place. We have to catch King Cobra this time; we can’t let him slip away."

Chapter 8. Much is Broken Since she had been flying just below cloud cover, to hide herself easily from any harpy/ies who may be flying back to the Raven Kingdom, Sephora hadn't noticed the lack of creatures below her at all. To a human, this might seem a trivial detail. Yet, hawks, eagles, ravens and other such harpy all had some of the sharpest eyesight around. Owls, could even see details in dim lighting, or the complete darkness, where the ravens, eagles and hawks would fail. If it had taken her so long to notice that there was an absence of any movment... of any life... this was wrong.

"While I'm at it, I would like to make a request to borrow Scorpion to collect the blue eggs. Most of the new recruits aren't very good at this egg hunt." Puzzled, Zen looked at Sasha. Wasn't the Scorpion following Team Freedom's leader? The Russian sniper explained the team's dynamic. Scorpion and Controlled Berserker couldn't be separated and acted as a pair no matter what happened. After Controlled Berserker was injured, the couple retreated to recover and stay out of danger. "They're preparing for a rematch, but I need Scorpion's help to get the blue eggs. It might take you some time to handle the blue eggs and their poison, and we need time to search for the black eggs."

The peace of the night was shattered by a scream from the northern ridge. It wasn't the sound of a wolf. It was the sound of a hawk. A messenger-drake, its wings scorched by fire, plummeted from the sky and crashed into the center of the jasmine clearing. I was on my feet in an instant, the red-gold light of my scales flaring. Kaelen and Lucien were already there, pulling the rider from the beast's back. It was one of Lucien's Forsaken scouts. His grey eyes were wide with terror, his skin covered in a strange, shimmering blue frost.
