Scyllas Romane & Geschichten

Natalia answered in surprise. "Scylla?" Elijah asked. Everyone knows that the titan in Mythion is quite a secret. But I didn't expect Elijah didn't know this. "We called it Scylla. It's a half-human half monster. It has the body of a gigantic female, but half her body below is made of tentacled snakes. Six huge snakes and her hair is made of hydra snakes. She's living in the deepest part of the sea, in the ring of oblivion." This explains it. Scylla, this can't be a Charybdis. Does that mean Charybdis is a place and not a titan?

Neo’s POV Sitting at my desk, my mind is consumed by the image of Skyler, completely engulfed in those Scarabs she fondly referred to. It's astonishing how she fearlessly caressed them, treating them as harmless creatures, before they obediently scurried away from her and disappeared into the earth. It's as if they hold no threat, no potential for danger or death. This scene continues to play in my mind, leaving me both fascinated and perplexed by Skyler's unwavering trust in these seemingly treacherous insects.

“Oops.” Scylla stood slowly, breathing hard. “That was a mistake.” “I heard you killed your daddy,” Thayla taunted. “What happened? He touch you the wrong way?” Scylla's fists trembled. “You don’t get to talk about my family.” “Oh, right,” Lyra chimed in, smirking. “The jailbird slut. What’s it like being a cursed little killer?” That did it. Scylla pulled out her gun in one swift motion and fired. The bullet missed Lyra by inches, crashing into the wall behind her with a deafening bang.

Clara eyed a tray of macarons longingly. "Do we have time to loot a few?" she whispered. "Mission first," Elodie said. Cassian passed her a lavender one. "Here. In case we die." Clara blinked. "Romantic." Inside the vault, sleek metallic walls curved inwards. Lines of blinking databanks stood like frozen monoliths. Elodie activated the search console. "We're looking for anything tagged Mnemosyne, Zephyr, or... weird old man paranoia." "Try keywords like 'Protocol Hades,'" Lyra offered.

“I won’t ask again.” Her eyes screwed shut. A trembling hand lifted, pointing shakily toward a side passage. “She’s… she’s there.” I released her with a shove and forced her ahead of me. Her whole body shook as we moved through the narrow corridor. My chest burned with fury, every step heavier than the last. We stopped before a wooden door marked Toilet. “Sir, it’s—” she started, but the rest was swallowed when I kicked it open. The door slammed against the wall, dust shaking from its hinges.

He caught the chains in his bare hands, the Void-energy burning his skin, but he didn't let go. "Scarlett! Use the Navigator!" Caleb yelled, his voice vibrating with the strain of holding back the power of a god. "Rewrite the frequency! If he's an AI, he has a root password!" Scarlett pulled the Stellar Navigator from her bag. It was screaming, the needle spinning so fast it was a blur. She looked at the code flowing through the air—the mix of Taoist runes and binary. She didn't use her brush to fight. She used it to code.

A gigantic, worm-like salt scorpion, whose tank consisted of thick, crystallised salt layers, which were in the light of our Headlights like diamonds sparkled. His huge scissors crawled with the Noise of rolling stone, and his tail ended in a sharpened Stack of pure carbon steel – the remnant of an old wreck that the animal in had integrated his body. The beast struck a deep, inaudible infrasound loop, which the front discs the steel coil trembled, and held directly on our flank. Kael pulled his kinetic rifle off his back and a wild, unwavering smile lay on his lips. “Welcome in the deep sea, Jada. Let us show them that our scrap is not cheap.’

Venus held his hand. "You've said that already, Romeo. Now, get on." Her voice was patronising but her palms were sweaty. Jules finally noticed the machine beside her. A black motorcycle. Which goes to say he must be blind because it looked like something that came straight out of a car crash insurance commercial. "You must be joking."

She says. "The pleasure is mine!" Chris responds. "See you later!" She says to Raphael before heading to the door. Both guys watches her retreat in silence. Immediately she shuts the door, Chris turns to Raphael with a mischievous smile on his face. "Sky, this house is filled with temptations!" Chris remarks. "To you. Because those temptation as you call it are my cousins and sister!" Raphael defends. "In the sense of it!" Chris says. "To you, because Alexandra is the only one who knows we aren't blood-related. They all think am their cousin!" Raphael, says. Meanwhile Chris ringtone intrudes. He watches Chris retrieve his phone, cuts the call and turns to his direction.

Luna and Ezekiel also did the same. "We can't attack it with a sword," Hector said as she stared at the Scolopendra gigantea. "I'm good at daggers," Maximo said and took out his daggers. "I, too." Sirene and Zachary took out their daggers and Hector also took out his daggers immediately. The Scolopendra gigantea was only staring at Soheila and the others, yet it still looks so disgusting. "If I count to three, we all shoot the eyes, okay?" Luna said as she glanced at Soheila and Luna. "And the others would be scattered and try cutting its legs."
