Second Chance Luna Mated To Ex's Uncle Novels & Stories

I teased, feeling her laughter vibrate against my chest. Luna stared up at me with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Like mates for life?" she asked playfully. I smiled down at her. "Exactly like mates for life," I replied, knowing that our connection was stronger than any bite could create. I have yet to tell her that she is my mate in every sense of the word, destined to be by my side for eternity. But for now, I'll let her enjoy the playful banter and the warmth of our bond. If anyone knows that I found my mate in Luna, a war could erupt among our kind. No one will accept a human for Luna. But I am willing to fight for her and protect her at all costs, even if it means going against our o

I find myself asking, and before I can stop myself it's already too late. "It happens on rare occasions I guess." She gives out a small shoulder shrug then tuck her hair behind her ear. "My ex Alpha's Luna died during childbirth, and he hasn't mated anyone else yet. People just find someone else to love or be with when they lose their mates." Now's the right time to tell her you're her second chance mate! Walt yells in my head. Instead, I rise up to my feet and dive into the water, leaving a loud splash behind.

“Grandpa doesn’t have a mate anymore, Marvel. That’s not funny.” “It’s true,” Dad mutters, looking at the woman for the first time since he walked in. He’s looking at her in a way he never looked at my mom. There is adoration and a tenderness in his eyes I’ve never seen before. “She’s, uh, my second chance, it appears.” “Don’t you mean third?” Rick tilts his head in confusion. “I mean, I know Luna Harriet was a chosen mate, but your fated mate was Alyssa, Lucy’s sister, wasn’t it?”

I try to reassure them. Celeste rubs my back, "is it true? Is Gideon Alois your second chance, mate?" I can hear a mix of happy excitement and nervousness in her question. "Yes, there is no denying what that was. It was the mate pull and sent. I didn't know it could be that strong." I am still trying the calm down and catch my breath. "How do you feel about that, kiddo?" Dad is more concerned. A lot has happened to me in the past six months, and I am now mated to the Druit Gaurd Alpha, meaning I will become a Luna.

“That’s because she is an insecure, chosen replacement. And the only reason she is luna is because she got pregnant with Brandon and ran. She came back once Brandon was a pup and Vince couldn’t lie to his father any longer.” We all dropped our mouths open. “Seriously?” I looked at my mom. She nodded. “Vince was looking for an alpha female to marry, but then our beloved luna, who was actually a low ranked gamma, showed up with a pup in her arms. The alpha made them mate.” My mom looked at her nails. “He’s only kept her around because she doesn’t care about the cheating or his plotting.” “Is there a reason we are waiting out here?” Ternen looked around, slightly confused.

Jacob looked at Jules and Marc, "I guess you already knew who the silver haired woman Nick has been asking you about." he said and Jules nodded. "Your Luna is Nick's mate. But after he rejected her and she accepted it, she left the pack and became a rogue and found her second chance mate in me." he explained. "This is not a secret so I am telling you. And you should know that you are lucky to have her as your Luna." he added. Marc and Jules nodded and smiled happily.

I blushed at his words and smiled "That would be lovely," With those words Killian jolted to our room and shut the door. prepared I closed my eyes and anticipated a night to remember with my once Unwanted Mate. “Plan it Layla and make sure to invite all packs. Isn’t there a pack run as well next week?” Next week is Luna eclipse and packs come together and do a run. That is also a good way for unmated wolves to find their mates. “Yes, alpha the Luna eclipse run is next week but we did not RSVP since we never go.” I looked at Logan. “I will sort that out.” I left Layla and Logan standing there and rushed to my office. It would be nice to go there with Sara and I was going to invite her. When I got to my office, I made a call to her. It rang for a while before she answered.

Jolene groans, “Will you stop, please.” Luna is confused, “Stop what?” Jolene sighs, “My wolf is saying that you’re upset because you have to see an ex?” Luna starts to cry, “Merlin was my husband, he cheated on me with my cousins. They are happily married and we are about to see them for the first time since then.” Jolene lets out a shocked noise. She wants to ask questions, but her wolf tells her that it's not the time. She tries to comfort Luna by patting her on the shoulder. They continue to ride in silence.
